Course Description This course describes skills, knowledge and performance outcomes required to manage multicultural diversity in workplace that covers
organization’s diversity policy, encouraging diversity within work teams and upholding the benefits of a diverse workplace. It should also
develop the ability to communicate with people from a range of social and cultural groups with respect and sensitivity, and to address
cross-cultural misunderstanding if it arises. The end goal is for the student to be equipped with social awareness and diverse
understanding when serving customers and working .with colleagues.

Course Requirements
 Midterm Requirement is a booklet of a compilation of different international cultural practices and beliefs to be understood by the
Tourism Frontliners (tour guides, drivers, and tourist attraction staff) provided with related illustrations and essential details of origin of
the practices. Requirement is required to be submitted in the campus by leaving the output at the guard house. The booklet’s content
should be in printed form, supplemented with printed images and essentials details of each practice. Student and course details should
reflect at the back cover of the output: name, course code & course description, program and year level, and name of the instructor.

 Final Requirement will be a group (maximum of 3 members) Video Presentation on how to resolve multicultural diversity in workplace.
The video must contain scenarios of conflicts followed by immediate step or response to resolve the conflicts/ issue. Three scenarios
composed of different nationalities/ culture practices is required to be presented. Requirement is required to be submitted in the google
classroom with a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes presentation. Required details should reflect at the end of the
video presentation: name, course code & course description, program and year level, and name of the instructor.

Course Policies  Students are required to attend the online modular class following the official schedule. Students must access the uploaded materials
and comply with the requirement.
 NO face to face lecture shall be done.
 Integrity and dedication in all academic works is expected from the students.
 Plagiarism and other form of dishonesty are strictly prohibited. Violation of such will lead to failure of grade in the required output and/
or in the course.
 Students with special needs (PWD, single parent, working student & expecting and illed students) will be given consideration only when
they inform the instructor about their situation.
 Midterm Grade will be distributed individually through a private message in the google classroom before the entry of the Week 10. Upon
the on time/ success release of the midterm grade, the final grade will automatically be posted within the given period by the
administration after the 18 weeks-course period.
 Printed output that is required to be submitted at the campus should only be left and endorsed at the guard house. NO
physical appearance allowed in submitting output/ turn in.

Modular:
 All turn ins should be submitted in the official Google classroom only. Submission of requirement through social media platform is NOT
permitted.
 Turn in your work on time and always do your best (accomplishment of requirement should fit into the given Week as reflected in the
