Junggoy’s Snack House aims at promoting healthy snacks to people of
Calassitan, Sto. Niňo, Cagayan through our products Turon and Bola-bola.
Our products is mainly made of Banana and banana blossom, which is rich in
potassium, and flour which is rich in carbohydrates. And this two can be
perfectly paired with the refreshing palamig. You can also enjoy this trio in an
affordable price.
Our legal form of business ownership will be organized as partnership.
It is formed and owned by Cabaddu, Tulbo, Balagat, et al. All the income and
losses of our business are the responsibility of us. The partnership
organization including the co-owner that will be working in the organization.
And based on the data we’ve gathered, the market strategy promises
strong success for the reason that 15 out of 15 respondents which is
equivalent to 100% is interested in our products and willing to spend some
money on it.
Our products will be prepared mainly with fresh ingredients that will
surely satisfy our customers cravings.
And to be more specific, the business location is within barangay
Calassitan, Rey Balagat’s Residence, and our target market are the people
within the Barangay also.
Introduction
Turon is a well known Filipino merienda (Filipino afternoon snack) or desert that has
the perfect blend of flavor and texture. This is mainly made from banana, one of the
main product of the Philippines. Aside from the famous turon, Bola-bola is also one
of the top list snacks cravings of most Filipinos. Bola-bola is made from banana
bells/blossoms mixed with flour and this has been in the local market for quite some
time. And of course Filipino merienda will never be completed without the famous
refreshing drinks called “Samalamig” also known as Palamig which refers to various
traditional Filipino sweet chilled beverages that usually include jelly-like ingredients
and was originated in the Philippines.
This underrated trio has been serving Filipinos up to this day. As an alternative to
restaurants or eateries due to the tight protocols of the government related to the
current situation, our business focusses on selling the Filipino favourite turon and
bola-bola, and refreshing palamig in our locality to ensure that every people in our
area can afford to smile in a hot foods and cold drinks even in this time of pandemic.
Selling these products could also boost the banana industry as this helps in
promoting the banana products of the local farmers, in this case, buying our products
would help some Filipino banana farmers in our locality.

Marketing Plan
Our Product
Turon also known as “ lumpiang Saging”, is a Philippine snack made of thinly
sliced bananas(preferably banana saba),duster with brown sugar, rolled in a spring
roll wrapper and fried. It’s been said that turon began in communities in the
Philippines that are located near banana trees and crop fields.
Aside from Turon, Bola-bola is also one of the famous products made from
banana, specifically from banana bell/blossom. Banana buds are chopped in small
pieces mixed with flour, egg, and seasoning which will be fried until it turns to golden
brown. It is a tasty snack which is crispy in the outside and tender and tasty in the
inside. You can also dip it in a perfectly seasoned vinegar sauce.
On the other side, Samalamig is also known Palamig are chilled by street
bartenders during or especially summer season that are commonly sold as
refreshments. Faucets-like containers perfectly flowed cups with sweet juices during
noon as resistance against the sunny weather. This sweet beverages can come into
various flavors namely chocolate, melon, pineapple, watermelon, ube halaya, buko
pandan, guinomis, the famous Sago’t Gulaman and many more. Typical ingredients
of the drinks include gulaman or agar-agar, sago pearls, kaong, tapioca pearls, nata
de coco and coconut including macapuno. They are usually anglicised as pearl
coolers or pearl and jelly coolers.
Turon, Bola-bola, and Samalamig are usually sold along streets with
banana cue, camote cue, and maruya.
Our “’JUNGGOY’ Snack House” can be considered as convenience because our
products are satisfying, healthy and affordable. All in all, our JUNGGOY Snack
House is the go-to-place for your cravings.

A target market is a group of customers within a business’s serviceable
available market at which a business aims its marketing efforts and resources. The
target market is the first elements of a marketing strategy. Product, price promotion
and place are the four elements of marketing mix strategy that determine the
success of a product or service in the market.
Our primary target are the people in our area because they the one who are
able to buy our products which are Turon, Bola-bola and Samalamig. Our our target
market can be any age, gender and religion. It is important to a business to identify
and select a target market so it can direct its marketing effort to the group of
customers and to better satisfy their cravings.

Our company will serve as a convenience to our hunger. We aim to
provide and produce a good, clean and healthy turon, bola-bola and
samalamig not only to our target market but also to our fellow students. Our
mission is to attain the felicity of our customers as well as gaining profits. To
all of the efforts of our company, an affordable, clean and conditioned turon,
bola-bola and Samalamig will easily reach our customers within the
community.
Through our products, we can be profitable in the future by analysing
our different target markets and our advantages against our competitors. By
proper planning and innovating our product, we are confident that our target
market will accept and patronize our products.
Our suppliers are willing to reserve us a kilos of Banana saba and
banana blossom and packs of Samalamig juices so that we wouldn’t run out
of stock. Our suppliers are located in Barangay Calassitan, Sto. Niňo,
Cagayan, and Barangay Centro 2, Lasam, Cagayan.

Competitors Analysis
The competitors of Junngoy’s Snack House are the other sellers that
sells the same products as ours. The other turon and bola-bola seller, just like
us, produce their own products, but the different lies between the promos that
we offer and how organized and clean our business place is.
In fact, many vendors sells cooked foods in our area. Various types of
veggie foods, even banana que and the famous balot penoy. However, to
keep our business afloat, we will ensure that we will do our best to make our
business and products profitable to their tastes.
The advantage of Junggoy’s Snack House to our competitors is that
we have conducted surveys and analysed the data gathered that’s why we
are aware of our target market’s opinions on our products and using that will
make our business even better. We believe that we will not only do business,
doing this will also help them in a way that this will give them an alternative
way to avail their favourite meryenda.
Marketing Mix
Turon, Bola-Bola and Samalamig are the best trio to our cravings. Our
Turon and bola-bola will always be at a good condition so that our customers
will always be satisfied. And Our Samalamig will always be at its freshness.
Our main products were actually made with healthy ingredients that will be
cooked by our company.
Price
We have decided that the prices of our products will be affordable and
will include discounts. We will be selling turon for prices ranging from ₱5.00-
₱15.00, it is because our respondents has an equal price preference
between ₱5.00, ₱10,00, and ₱15.00, And this goes the same for the Bola-
bola because we gathered almost the same data as the turon. With our
palamig, we will be selling it for ₱5.00 because 93.33% of them preferred this
price as affordable.
Our pricing strategy is Bundle pricing, it is actually selling a package or
set of goods for lower price than they would charge if the customer bought all
them separately. Our main price on our Turon is ₱15.00 per set/cup
containing 6 pieces of turon, this is at its discounted price. If our customers
does not have enough money to buy turon per cup, we have an option pricing,
we have a retail price, it is ₱3.00 per piece. And in bola-bola, we are willing to
sell it ₱15.00 per cup containing 7 pieces of bola-bola, but if customers want
to avail it in retail, we are selling it for ₱3.00 per piece.

Our location will be at Calassitan, specifically at Rey Balagat’s
residence. We will also offer free deliveries within the Barangay.
Promotion
Junggoy’s Snack House plans to encourage its target market to avail
our products through different ways. We will also create our Facebook page to
post our improvements, journey on implementing our business ,and our
journey throughout our business.
Distribution
Due to rainy weather, and increasing number of Covid-19 cases in our
barangay, we encouraged everyone to just message us and we will deliver
their orders at their homes as this would help lessen the increasing covid
cases in the community and in accordance to the IATF health protocols which
is effective in the community.
Production Plan
Our production plan shall strive to attain service excellence in addition
to safe selling. This shall be undertaken through obeying safety protocols
given by IATF. We also intended to ensure that the suppliers we engage are
committed and reliable, so as not to let down the final consumer in terms of
the quality of the product.
