Natural resources are the useful things that occur naturally in the environment. Some examples are oil,
water and trees. Humans use natural resources for every parts of theirs live, so we all must be careful to use
them wisely.Resouces can be divided into renewable and non-renewable resouces. The difference is whether
the resouces recovers naturally over time. Renewable resouces are usually living things like animals and plants.
For example, trees are a renewable resouces because they grow soon again after we cut them down. But oil is a
non-renewable resouces because it takes millions of years to form again. We must try to save the non-
renewable resouces because once they are used up, we cannot get more.
Natural resouces can be traded between countries. They can create a lot of wealth for resource rich
countries. For examples, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Kuwait in Middle East have a large amount of petroleum. They
export it to other countries and make good money.
