1. Madi D. Lim filed an affidavit accusing Canor C. Maang aka "Boy Tigas" of raping her on February 2, 2022 in Tacloban City. 2. According to the affidavit, Maang broke into Lim's home while she was alone, held a knife to her throat, and raped her in her bedroom. 3. After the assault, Maang threatened to kill Lim and her family if she told anyone what happened. Lim reported the crime to the police and went to the hospital after her parents found her crying.

AFFIDAVIT OF COMPLAINT

I, MADI D. LIM, Filipino, 21 years old, single, and with residence at No.13 Dimakita St.
Barangay Alaw, Tacloban City, after having been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby
depose and state that:

1. This complaint-affidavit is being filed to charge Canor C. Maang a.k.a “Boy Tigas”,
Filipino, of legal age, construction worker and with residence at Purok 6 Dimakita St.
Barangay Alaw, Tacloban City, of the crime of Rape under Article 266 of the Revised
Penal Code, committed as follows:

a. That on February 2, 2022, it was my day off from work and I was left alone in our
house because my parents and older brother had to go to their work.

b. That at about 2:30 P.M of February 2, 2022, while I was in my room lying in my
bed, I heard some noise in the living room. I decided to check on what it is and
leave my room.

c. As I was about to open the door of my bedroom when Boy Tigas appeared in
front of me holding a knife. He suddenly grab me and pointed the knife on my
neck and told me “Huwag kang sisigaw kung hindi sasaksakin kita”.

d. I was begging him not hurt me and not to do anything to me, It was then that he
entered the room while grabbing me and pointing the knife at me and told me
that, “Sumunod ka lang at hindi ka masasaktan”.

e. I was so afraid that he will stab me with the knife so I followed his orders while
crying. He lay me down and take off my short pant and underwear.

f. Thereafter, he took off his pants and underwear while he is on top of me and
holding the knife on his hand.

g. He inserted his penis fiercely inside my vagina and thrust hastily many times
while still holding the knife.

h. After he was finished, he told me not to tell anybody what happened or else he
will come back and kill me including my family, and I just answered Yes because
of fear then he left.

2. When my parents arrived home, they heard me crying in my room. They entered my
room and asked me why I am crying heavily thus I told them what happened.

3. Appalled to what happened, my parents and I went to the police station to report
the crime that happened and accompanied me to the hospital for medical purposes.

4. That I am executing this complaint-affidavit to attest the truth of the foregoing facts
and to charge Canor C. Maang a.k.a “Boy Tigas of the crime of Rape under Article
266 of the Revised Penal Code

AFFIANT FURTHER SAYETH NAUGHT.


IN WITNESS WHEREOFF, I have hereunto set my hand this February 5, 2022, at Tacloban
City, Philippines.
