A report text is a type of text that announce the result of an investigation or announce
something. The information given in a report text is very general information.

Social function of report text is to present information about something generally to the
reader.

General classification berisi pernyataan umum tentang subjek yang dibicarakan
atau dibahas.
 Description
Description merupakan bagian yang memberikan gambaran secara detail
mengenai subjek yang dibahas pada bagian general classification.

“Jakarta City”

(General Classification)

Jakarta is a capital city of Indonesia. Jakarta is located on the northwest Java.

(Description)

The most popular food in Jakarta are Kerak Telor, ketoprak and Soto Betawi. There
are so many culture in Jakarta. There are many old buildings there.But now, Jakarta has
influenced by globalization. Globalization give many impact. Negative impact and positive
impact. There are many positive impact. But because the positive impact, there are many
negative impact too.

An example of positive impact is, there are a lot of tourist that goes vacation to
Jakarta, and then, the tourist will see Indonesian culturals, old buildings, and many gives. But
from that positive impact, the negative impact is rivers in Indonesian especially Jakarta, the
rivers are polluted by waste. And if Jakarta is rainly, there are always flood.

Birds

Birds is vertebrate animals that have feathers and wings. Birds are the only vertebrate
animals which can fly. Birds have thousands of species that spread across the world starting
from the smallest birds such as hummingbird and the largest birds such as the ostrich.
Although birds are the only vertebrates that can fly, there is also a kind of bird that cannot fly
like chickens, pinguins and ostriches.

Its body is covered with feathers which have diverse functions and colors. Birds beak
has also so many different forms adapted to their food. For example, falcons have powerful
beaks and sharp used for tearing shreds of meat while the hummingbird has a small beak and
long used for sucking honey.

Birds is a kind of vivar animals. Vivar is the type of animals that reproduce by means
of producing eggs. Birds can produce many eggs in every spawn. Before hatching, the egg
will be incubated during a specific period of time. For example chickens incubate its egg for
21 days before hatching.
