1. What is medium? What is technique?
An artwork’s medium refers to the different materials or supplies that an artist
utilizes to create a work of art; it can be also the method or way of expressing the
message of art. By distinguishing different media, you can classify art according to
different codes, languages, and characteristics. This is probably the most common way
to understand art, but it can be considered superficial.
The technique is the way wherein the artist controls their medium to accomplish
the ideal impact. They satisfy the specialized prerequisites of their specific masterpiece
with the capacity. It has something to do with the way they control their medium to
communicate their thoughts n fine art that means that technique is the technological
methods, material, and media used to achieve a purpose and message. For example, the
use of translucent paint at certain times while painting a portrait is a very esoteric
technique.

3. Why do artists differ in their choice of subjects for their artworks?
People have different perceptions or ways of thinking, the subject of the artwork
is the symbolism of what they are trying to say or the message of the artwork. It is the
subjects that project an artwork's view on their eyes.
4. What does the artist express in his paintings?
Artists create artwork or painting that conveys to us how they assume and sense
approximately things. Artists use extraordinary lines, shapes, and colors to explicit their
feelings, artwork afford various forms, symbols, and thoughts with meanings that may
be decided through the artist. An artist can create visible imagery of imaginary animals,

5. What is the medium of literature? Explain the nature of translation.
Since literature is a work of art, its medium is language. Language reveals the
attitudes of various literary works, as it can express and try to express the artist's
emotions through language. Literature is a collection of expressions related to language.
These expressions are conveyed through language. Therefore, the existence of literature
depends on the language. There can be as much literature as there is language. It
focuses on the creative writing aspect of expression. Language and literature differ in
meaning, existence, nature, meaning, order, method, and so on. The purpose of
language is to express ideas, opinions, feelings, and knowledge. The purpose of
literature, on the other hand, is to capture these linguistic expressions.

1. Benedicto Cabrera
- He is a famous Filipino painter, and awarded National Artist of the Philippines for
Visual Arts in 2006. He has been noted as "arguably the best-selling painter of his
generation of Filipino artists."
