Sera® Print C-DF


Cationic Dye Fixing Agent to improve wet fastness of reactive prints on cellulosic
Fiber.

Function Cationic Dye Fixing Agent especially for improving wet fastness of
Reactive and Direct dye prints on cellulosic fiber.

Properties - improves water severe, perspiration and hot pressing fastness.

- Improves fastness to washing significantly.

- contains no formaldehyde & zinc ( suitable for eco label) .

Application Sera Print C-DF can be diluted in all proportion by pouring cold water .

The amount of Sera Print C-DF depends on type of dye and desired
depth.

Padding Process

The padding process is carried out at room temperature 20 C to 30 C
®
through solution of Sera Print C-DF. The pH of padding bath should
be kept between 5 - 6 by adding acetic acid.

3 – 7 gpl for pale to medium shades with 70% pick up.


7 – 15 gpl for very dark shades with 70% pick up.

Dry the fabric after padding.

Exhaust Process
®
With the following concentration of Sera Print C-DF, the goods must

be treated for 20 minutes at 40 C at pH 6 to 6.5

0.5 – 1% for tints to medium shades


1 – 1.5% for very dark shades

Rinse in cold water and dry the fabric.

Sera Print C-DF has good stability to steaming. It has very slight
dye-specific shade change and thereby good reproducibility. It protects
the prints produced with reactive dyes against hydrolysis and
thermocraking therefore does not influence the fastness properties
after heat treatment and storage under adverse conditions.
