It’s Only Triangles!

Fabric requirements:
1 Layer Cake (40 – 10” squares) prints
1 Layer Cake (40 – 10” squares) solid for background
3/4 Yard Binding
5 ½ Yards Backing
Half square triangles (HST): Draw a diagonal line on the reverse
side from corner to corner of each background square. Place right
sides together on a print fabric square and sew ¼” away from each
side of the drawn line. Cut along the drawn line to yield two half
square triangles. Open the half square triangle unit and press seam
allowance toward the darker fabric. Trim “dog ears” if desired. The
finished square should now measure 9 5/8” square. Make 80 HST
units.

Lay out the blocks as shown in the picture of the finished quilt or from
one of the diagrams shown on the last page.
Stitch into rows alternating the direction the seam allowances are
pressed for each row. Stitch rows together.
Quilt, bind, and enjoy!

1 Set 5” Charms (40 – 5” squares) prints
1 Set 5” Charms (40 – 5” squares) solid for background
3/8 Yard Binding
1 3/8 Yards Backing
Half square triangles (HST): Draw a diagonal line on the reverse side from
corner to corner of each background square. Place right sides together on a
print fabric square and sew ¼” away from each side of the drawn line. Cut
along the drawn line to yield two half square triangles. Open the half square
triangle unit and press seam allowance toward the darker fabric. Trim “dog
ears” if desired. The finished square should now measure 4 5/8” square. Make
80 HST units.

Lay out the blocks as shown in the picture of the finished quilt, from one of the
diagrams below, or make up your own design by twisting and turning the
blocks!
Stitch into rows alternating the direction the seam allowances are pressed for
each row. Stitch rows together.
Quilt, bind, and enjoy!
