B. EXPLOARATION Guided Activity 1

Direction: Put a check mark on the box if it is a proper ways of handling


materials and put a cross mark if it is not.

1. Let spilled liquid stays on the floor.


2. Do not play with unknown substances.
3. Play with matches or other flammable materials.
4. Do not check the expiration date of canned
goods and other products.
5. Always read labels before handling any unknown
materials.

Lisa’s mother ordered her to clean the bathroom. She gave all the
materials Lisa will need in cleaning. One of the materials is bleaching liquid.
What should Lisa do before using it? Why?
E. EVALUATION Put a STAR in the space provided before the number if it is a proper
ways of handling materials and put a circle if it is not.
