Manchester: a great place to shop

Manchester is a paradise for shoppers. There is something for everybody! In one morning you can buy
excellent cheese from a local market, sunglasses from a fashion boutique and your favourite brand of jeans
from a big department store. Manchester is the main shopping area for the north-west of England.

In the city centre you can visit the Arndale, a shopping mall where you can find all the major UK department
stores and big shops like Marks & Spencer and Zara. If you don't want big shops then you can shop in the

and the Victorian Barton Arcade where you can find all the top names in fashion, like Armani, Hugo Boss and
Burberry.
