Task Performance
1. Provide the name of the web application/website.
-Canva
2. Provide the link to the web application/website.
3. Briefly describe the web application/website.
- Canva website is a great online graphic design tool. It can be
used for everything from basic photo editing to creating social media
images, flyers, and documents. The Canva website is used to create and
design presentation templates and videos. It is mostly used by
students to present their homework and it has a lot of features.
4. What type of user interface (UI) does the web application/website
encompasses? Justify your answer.
- The GUI, or Graphical User Interface, is the type of UI that
incorporates the Canva website. Some conventions are used to build the
structure of the static elements and define the appearance of the
interface in this website, with which a user can interact. The
examples of elements in here are the Menu, Icons, Controls, and Tabs.
5. Take a screenshot of at least two (2) different event-driven
program execution that you have noticed in the web
application/website.
6. Based on your answers on item number 5, rationalize how each
screenshot encompasses event-driven program execution.
The first screenshot shows that the site's Home Page or Log-in
Page requires the user's account to be entered in order to access
the website. In this case, the event-driven that can be executed
is the Mouse Event, which can be used to click, press, or drag
the buttons on that page.
As soon as the user enters the website, he or she has access to
all of the elements that can be interacted with. At this point,
event classes like Action Event and Adjustment Event can be
called.
