ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

Part I (50%)

PURPOSE
In addition to wages and salaries, organisations sometimes provide employees with various
compensation programmes known as employee benefits and services. These are the advantages
that accrue to an employee apart from the wages and salaries. The purpose of this assignment is
to enhance learners’ ability to explain and then evaluate the various types of employee benefits
and services that are used to pay and retain employees.

REQUIREMENT
Select and explain the types of employee benefits and services practiced in your organisation or an
organisation that you are familiar with. Explain and evaluate how these types of employee
benefits and services are used to retain the employees. Suggest ways to innovate the current
types of employee benefits and services used for the selected organisation.

TUJUAN
Sebagai tambahan kepada upah dan gaji, organisasi kadangkala menyediakan pekerja dengan
pelbagai program pampasan yang dikenali sebagai faedah dan perkhidmatan pekerja. Ini adalah
kelebihan yang terakru kepada pekerja selain daripada upah dan gaji. Tujuan tugasan ini ialah untuk
mempertingkatkan kebolehan pelajar-pelajar untuk menerangkan dan menilai pelbagai jenis faedah
