First in Indonesia Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway

The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail line is planned to start operating in 2022 as the second
phase of Bandung-Surabaya is built. With a 20-30 minute headway, from Jakarta to Bandung
will only take 36 to 44 minutes.

The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train will use


the latest generation CR400AF. Having a track length of 142.3 km stretching from Jakarta to
Bandung, The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train has four stopping stations Halim, Karawang,
Padalarang, Tegalluar with one depot located in Tegalluar.The construction was carried out on a
massive scale to pursue operational targets in end of 2022. Of the total length of high-speed
railway lines, more than 80 km of them have elevated structures while the rest are 13 tunnels
and subgrades. Several temporary facilities such as Batching Plant and Casting Yard were built
at several critical points to support the acceleration of the construction process.
