Title:- Social Welfare Programme services for children.
Social welfare is defined as a organized structure of social services designed to
support individual, group and communities to accomplish meaning full lives.
Appropriate management of the programmes require better understanding of the
welfare services provided to the marginalized and weaker sections of the society.
The main social programmes for children,
1. Mid-day meal scheme.
2. Integrated child protection scheme.
3. Schemes for education of children.
4. Right of children for free and compulsory (RTE) education act.
5. Sarva shiksha abhiyan (SSA)
6. Kishori shakti yojana.
7. National child labour project.
8. The national commission for protection of child right.
Objective:-
To ensure for the children their basic human right to survival, physical, mental
and social development and opportunity to grow to their full potential.
Verify the significance of welfare programmes and services for children.
Hypothesis:-
1. Maternal, child, abuse and investigation characteristics are associated with
maternal response among non-perpetrating caregivers of children investigated for
sexual abuse.
2. The programmes focuses on achiving a great impact on child’s education and
health.
3. The major expected out comes of the programmes is the over all personal well
being of the child is integrated child development services scheme.
4. A child in conflict with law.
5. The rights of children to free and compulsory education act (RTE). this act is
implemented in the year 2010 to provide free and compulsory education for the
children from the organized group.
The national commission for protection of child right.(NCPCR)
This is a statutory body comes under the ministry of the women and child
development and the commission for protection of child right.(NCPCR) act 2005.
The commission reviews the provisions for protection of child right and propose
strategies for efficient education,find out violation of child right in the country, issues
related to the children, suggest suitable approaches.
