TRAILER 2:

DOORS OF THE MIND

FADE IN:  

INT. DARK ROOM - NIGHT  

A door appears, in front of Denise (shown by POV), (non-diegetic)


chants can be heard, repeating the phrase “Red Door, Yellow Door,
any other color Door”, each time getting louder and louder. The
camera pans around Denise showing her facial expressions and
surroundings. Abruptly cuts to a black screen. Sound begins to
intensify.

Fade:

[Montage sequence] 
Alarm Ringing (off screen), she slowly wakes up, going off screen
to turn it off. Denise takes her time in getting ready for school
as she is being very lazy and slow.

She randomly picks a shirt and sniffs it and proceeds to close


the room door. Denise opens the door and proceeds to head
downstairs; she finds on the table there is breakfast ready with
a note from her mother.

Denise crumbles the note and picks up the water bottle to get
ready to go to school.

Cut:

Establishing shot of school, with a non-diegetic school


bell ringing, she walks through the hall with headphones in her
ears and gets inside her class.

Denise takes off her headphones and sits at the side of the
class, she then lays her head down as the rest of the students
enter the class.   
 
The mean girls burst into the class, shown with a mid-shot, and
Angela slams a paper on Denise’s desk Denise flinches from the
sound.

Angela 
(shove the books)
I’m waiting b****
Angela
(Touching Denise's headscarf)
Angela’s mean girl minions start giggling and
secretly steal Denise’s bottle as she goes to pick up
her books.

Bullies giggle with her friend and sit behind her. They talk


behind her back and secretly throw a fake spider on Denise. 
 
Denise slowly notices something on her shoulder and realizes,
resulting in a hysterical SCREAM. The whole class starts laughing
and looks at her in amusement.

The minions place the bottle back on Denise's table.


 
Denise jumps up to get the spider off her and quickly sits back
on her seat.  The teacher walks in silently, shown as a low
angle. 
 
Close-up of hat being placed on the table. Through a Dutch angle
it shows the teacher writing on the board, “Detention” he writes
Denise's name. 

Reaction of Denise’s face as she nervously blinks and looks away


embarrassed. She starts fidgeting with a rubber band on her arm.
 
 
TEACHER 
(Mad) 
No
homework...again, it's unacceptable... sl
acking off... wasting your time in my
lesson young lady (pitiful sign). Get
your act together, or I’ll call home. 

Close up of Denise panting and breathing anxiously, Denise takes


a drink of her water. 

 
Cut:

The teacher slams her exam paper on the table. High


angle, showing her “F”. 
 
TEACHER (off screen) 
Work on it, or you aren’t passing this
year- you're running out of time.
Cut:

Denise feels the need to vomit and abruptly leaves the


class, handheld camera. She is sitting at the edge of the
bathroom stall and collapses into tears. Cuts to her ripping the
paper into shreds and smacks the rubber band on her wrist
multiple times.
 
cut:

 
She walks around the streets until it gets dark while listening
to music. She finally reaches home and heads upstairs. 
cut:
  
She gets ready for bed and watches TikTok videos and comes across
the viral video going around on the game “Red door, Yellow
door, Any other color door”. 
Fade:
CAPTION: [START THE CLOCK]
 
TIKTOK Women
(voiceover)
Some precautions should be taken, not all
doors are meant to be opened.  
 
Close up of door being opened by two people, Denise and
mysterious hand.  

Cut:

TIKTOK Women
(voiceover)
NEVER interact with any of the people you
see. Ignore them, ignore them all.
 
Denise and the girl with the mask - interacting with each other. 
Cut:
 
Then a scene of her hand being snatched, whilst she was sliding
it down a counter.  

Cut:
 
TIKTOK Women  
(voiceover) 
If you find yourself a room... And a
clock... Leave, leave right now. Or
forever be trapped. 
 
A scene with Denise in a classroom with a clock, diegetic
pleonastic clock ticking, accompanied with the non-diegetic
music. 

Cut:

TIKTOK Women  
(voiceover) 
Go up, not down and you’ll find you’re
right. 
 
Handheld camera and flashing scenes of Denise frantically running
down the stairs while someone is chasing her. 

 Cut:
 
TIKTOK Women
(voiceover)
And in the rarest of cases, if you ever
see anyone who looks like you. RUN. 
 
Denise’s damaged self lookalike turns around with a knife in her
hand.  
Cut:
Denise’s lookalike is laughing in the mirror and her facial
expressions drop into pure seriousness. 

Fade into black:
