Working as Electrical Scada Engineer , at 36.6MW DARAL KHWAR Hydro Power Complex Bahrain Swat
KPK with Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization ( PEDO). From 1st May
2019 to 31, January 2022.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Operation, Supervision and Controlling of Whole Power house equipment through SCADA.
• Hand on practical Experience to start unit for commercial operation under Normal & emergency
situation, also to stop units under emergency situation.
• Unit pre-starting checks after maintenance/major overhauling.
• .Co-operate with plant specialists to ensure quick recovery from service failure
• Restoration of Power house Auxiliary through diesel Generator in case of lines tripping.
• Monitoring & Operation of Cooling Water System.
• Hourly Basis Data Collection of Units.
• Monitoring Intake water level, Hydrology/inflow to fore bay Gross Head, intake gate position
etc.
• Monitoring power House Auxiliary System, Excitation System, Cooling Water System and Air
Compressor System.
• Monitoring of 26MVA power transformers (oil & winding Temp, oil level, Buchholz Relay,
Pressure Relay, oil level Monitor Device.
• Preparation of station log having all the events of power House & maintenance work carried out
at powerhouse in my Shift.
• Maintaining Station Log, preparing trouble reports, issuing SP Tag, requesting and issuing PTW
as per safety, Monthly progress Report, Annual Report, Shutdown Schedule.
