importance of their role in strengthening your family’s relationship amidst the different challenges and
difficulties that you encounter.

Processing Questions:
1. What did you discover about you and your family while doing the activity?
This family of mine has flaws, as I've discovered. Sure, no family is perfect; I've always known this family
has some major flaws, but we still manage to support one another.
2. How does having similar or different duties unite your family?
Having similarities and different responsibilities in our family can contribute to unity by reflecting our
strong bonds with one another. We have a tendency to learn something and discover something new
about them or something. Being united does not necessitate someone with similar life perceptions;
rather, it necessitates a blending of differences. While dealing with life's problems and challenges,
having similarities and differences under one roof can contribute to a healthy relationship. And, as a
result of this situation, unity and peace may benefit from a better understanding. It can also be
beneficial to family members who may encounter various life circumstances and would like to learn how
to cope with them. If there is coordination between individuals, unity is sought.
3. What is the importance of recognizing and respecting the roles of family members in strengthening
your relationships?
Growing up and being respected by important people in our lives teaches us how to respect others.
Respect means accepting someone for who they are, even if they are different from you or you disagree
with them. Because family is everything, it is critical to recognize and respect each member of your
family. Even if the rest of the world is against you, your family will always be there to protect you. Even
if you committed a crime or did something wrong, only your family will believe in you. It is critical to
value our family because it is synonymous with respecting them. Respect is earned, not granted based
on one's age. Respect demonstrates your demeanor.

Processing Questions:
1. How was your experience while completing the activity?
It’s questionable – I realized I only know a few people hence why I struggled trying to fill in the blanks. In
all honesty I put in some names I don’t even know personally.
2. Who among the people around you has significant similarities with and differences from you? Explain
briefly its impact in your relationship with them.
Most of the people I know are somehow similar to me. I know for a fact that everyone is different,
3. How do you strengthen your relationship with the people around you in spite of your differences?
It all lies in the on the foundation. As you build your relationship with a beloved or a friend, you are
slowly strengthening that foundation. Personally, physical differences don’t matter to me.
You Can Do It!
Think of five significant people around you who made a positive impact in your life in spite of having
different views, interest, culture or values. Then, share ways on showing respect amidst diversity that
strengthen your relationship.
Processing Questions:
1. How did you feel while doing the activity?
I'm grateful because I'm fortunate to have such wonderful individuals in my life.
2. What is the importance of recognizing your similarities and differences in strengthening your
relationship with others?
Recognizing our similarities and distinctions from others will help us in determining who we are and
subsequently appreciating the entirety of our existence. Individuality is crucial to our ability to establish
yourself and avoid comparisons with others.
3. How will you inspire others to respect individual differences?
I encourage them to help others and to be an example to others because when you help others, they
help you. In short, always be kind and respect elders.
What I Have Learned
Create an advocacy poster that upholds the value of respect for others and that helps strengthen your
relationship with your family and other significant people around you.
Share Your Thoughts and Feelings
Make at least 3-5 paragraph essay guided by the following questions:
1. How do you practice respect to people who are very different from you?
2. When was the last time you struggled to respect other people? Cite your personal experience.
3. How do you react if others are not respecting you?
I respect those who are deserving of it. Being different from others does not imply that you should treat
them with contempt. I think about what I'm going to say before I say it, so that I don't upset them. I
might say something nice to make them feel better. As for the second question, it was when they body-
shamed another person. Many individuals, especially on social media, enjoy body shaming others. They
make fun of their skin color, the food they consume, the clothing they wear, and their physical
attractiveness. Respect those who deserve it. If someone disrespects you, ask them if they are okay,
according to my mother. Allow them to recognize their toxicity. Then don't speak to them for the rest of
your life.

focused on achieving their objectives.
Ask yourself WHY?
Socio-economic status must be considered in choosing my career:
Our socioeconomic position must be addressed while deciding on a profession since it helps us find the
relevant occupations and degrees to pursue. There would be a lot of expenditures throughout our
education, and if we choose a vocation that demands a lot of money or expenses, finishing our studies
would be tough. Furthermore, our socioeconomic standing would aid us in recognizing the needs of a
certain profession. For example, there would be a lot of demand in the medical field, thus picking a job
in that field would be beneficial in the long run.
Make a LIST.
Think well. Why is my family important in making decision for my career choice?
My family has a significant role in influencing my professional choice and progress. Parents always want
their children to be happy and succeed in whatever job path they choose. When their children are
making decisions on their own, parents are aware of their children's capabilities and may offer
recommendations and possibilities. The study of Keller (2004) found that when a kid feels supported and
loved by their parents, they are more confident in making professional selections. This means that
teenagers who are secure in their professional choices will have a more satisfying and stable job.
Analyze well!
How does media contribute to the knowledge I have about careers?
It helps with your employment opportunities. In a social online community, social media influence is a
marketing phrase that represents an individual's capacity to influence other people's thinking. The
greater a person's influence, the more appealing he or she is to corporations or other individuals looking
to promote an idea or sell a product.
Reflect:
How do my peers influence me in my choice of career?
Our peers are the ones we listen to the most, and they may persuade us to choose a specific job
path. Influence of peers: We tend to be affected by what our friends say to us as students. Friends might
make one job route appear more appealing than another. Another job option may appear to be quite
unappealing to our peers. We tend to be affected by the things and jobs that our peers exhibit us since
we consider them our closest friends.

What I Have Learned

1. What is really your main consideration in choosing your future career?
2. What can help you to be more certain with your future career?
3. How can you help yourself to pursue your future career?
Choosing a course to take is one of the most difficult decisions we must make. This is due to the fact that
the course we will take will define our future job. When it comes to choosing a college major, many high
school students face this dilemma. If I actually want to follow that job, I need to think about what would
keep me motivated during my studies. There are many methods to be certain about the job route I want
to take, but if I'm genuinely enthusiastic about something, I should attempt to focus on it instead so I
don't regret my decision. I should study hard and be motivated at all times in order to assist myself seek
my future job. Being optimistic is one method for me to stay focused on my objectives and have the
confidence that I can achieve them. I should also resist giving up on circumstances that might depress
me. In everyday life, we face several challenges that make it difficult for us to follow the job of our
dreams. It's possible that our thinking is the one we're fighting at times. Being strong and hopeful, on
the other hand, will enable us to do our best for the future. We should also develop healthy habits and
be accountable for our responsibilities and obligations as individuals. At the same time, we should strive
to achieve hard work and persistence in our life. As students, we may consider our future plans after
graduation. There may also be apprehension about anything that may be a hindrance in our life.
However, there are various approaches that may assist us in advancing our professions.

Overcoming Life’s Challenges
Let’s Try This
Meaningful Learning Experiences
Today you will have an intimate activity with yourself. You have to reflect on the lessons that you have
learned from your previous experiences at home school and community.
Heart — experiences at home: Home learning was a pleasant experience for several children and
families. The first thing we should properly grasp is that lockdown-style homeschooling was really
beneficial to us. While headlines shouted that children needed to return to school (and there's no doubt
that lockdown has been extremely difficult for some children), a lot of families were not in a hurry to
stop the home learning that had been foisted upon them.
Triangle — experiences in school: Despite a sometimes unfriendly media, schools rose to the occasion
and delivered. But, although the covid-19 epidemic has changed us, it has also taught us important
truths.
Square — experiences in the community: The alterations brought about by covid-19 in the early months
of 2020 have had a far-reaching impact on our lives. In order to adjust to the new normal, we had to
make changes in almost every aspect of our lives. Everything has had an impact. Even on a trip in the
woods, you'll notice attentive hikers grabbing hand sanitizer after touching a stile or gate.
Circle — experiences during community quarantine: The lockout and GCQ-style measures that were
implemented at the end of March were a rude awakening for many. Changes in our daily routines and
greater obligations in our professional life strike us hard and fast.
Processing Questions:
1. What did you feel when you were recalling the experiences that gave you the important lessons?
I'm unhappy about the incidents that taught me valuable lessons since they were recollections of my
poor life choices, but I'm glad that I learnt from those lessons and experiences. I vow myself that I will
remember the lessons it taught me and that I will try my best not to repeat the same mistakes again in
the future, indicating that I have truly learnt my lessons.
2. Did you find it difficult/easy to identify lessons learned from your experiences in the family, school
and community? Briefly explain your answer.
It was simple for me since it changed the way I perceive things and how I make decisions now and in the
future. I learnt to always be genuine with my family since I don't want them to be harmed. In school, I
choose to be honest and confident so that I may find my abilities and talents, and in the community, I
choose to contribute in small ways such as properly disposing of trash.
3. How can you use these learnings to achieve academic success?
In order to achieve academic success, I will remember what I have learned and use it in my daily life.
Let’s Explore This
1.Research for an inspiring academic success story. It can be a person you personally know (within your
family, school, community, etc.) or a person who is famous in a particular field (e.g. science, literature,
mathematics, music, arts, etc).
2. On a clean sheet of paper, write a brief summary of his/her life and journey towards success. Be
guided by the following:
a. General information about the person (name, family background, etc.)
b. Humble beginnings and academic/life challenges encountered.
c. How he/she succeed and continue to insure others through his/her achievements.
a. Albert Einstein is a theoretical physicist who is credited with inventing the theory of relativity. He was
born in the city of Ulm in the year 1879. In 1905, he received his bachelor's degree from the University
of Zurich. He also encompassed the fields of gravity and motion studies. He is the father of one
daughter, Lieserl Einstein, and two sons, Hans Albert Einstein and Eduard Einstein. Maria and Maja
Einstein are his two siblings' names. He comes from a large family. Unfortunately, he died in Princeton,
New Jersey, in 1955.
b. Albert Einstein was a brilliant man. He wrote about the two miracles he saw in his early years. At the
age of five, a compass is given, and at the age of twelve, a geometry book is given. He is having difficulty
getting an academic post. At the age of 12, he got devout and wrote numerous songs in worship of God.
However, after reading a science book that challenges his beliefs, he changes his mind. He also
published his first scientific paper.
c. Albert Einstein was honored with two honorary awards: the Copley Medal and the Nobel Prize. Gas
Abortion Heat Pump and Einstein Refrigerator are two of his brilliant ideas. The photoelectric effect was
first discovered by him. He has previously stated that if he continues to play the violin, he will become a
musician.
Processing Questions:
1. What are the person’s characteristics that you admire the most? Briefly explain your answer.
Albert Einstein was an extremely successful individual because of his inquisitiveness, intelligence, and
dedication. Albert Einstein's inquisitiveness was a character attribute he possessed that allowed him to
achieve such great achievement.
2. What did you learn from his/her experience?
In Einstein's vision of a person's existence, the essential evidence of intelligence was not knowledge but
imagination, and he felt that the sole source of information was experience. He enjoyed using stories to
persuade others. My lesson learnt is to be curious and imaginative as much as possible, and to learn on
a constant basis.
3. How did he/she inspire you towards your own journey to academic and life success?
Einstein is an everlasting emblem of brilliance and optimism as a pioneering physicist, Nobel Laureate,
outspoken moral leader, and philosopher. His brilliance altered the world in profound ways that are still
being comprehended today. Most importantly, he has motivated me to pursue creativity and
innovation.
