Head and Body are crocheted with the C hook size 2 using exclusively yarn hook size 2.5 – 3.5 (yarn
color: pink tulip). Head and body need to be stuffed firmly as you go.
The eye area is composed of templates of the eyes (crochetd in light pink colored yarn) and the eyes,
which are crocheted individually. After completion of the templates and the eyes, the eyes will be
sewn onto the templates at first and then sewn onto the head.
1. Eyes (make 2)
The eyes are crocheted using white yarn (hook size 2.5 – 3.5 (e.g. “Catania”) as well as your C hook
size 2. Furthermore the eyes won´t be stuffed with fibrefill and subsequently they are sewn onto the
head (cf. fig.)
note: because of the small size of the eyes it is recommened to sew the eyes with sewing thread
onto the head carefully – less experienced can access the hot glue gun (but beware: risk of injury! Take care
that the path from your place of injury to the waterhole is stumbling free!)
The eyes are crocheted using light pink colored yarn (hook size 2.5 – 3.5 (e.g. “Catania”) as well as
your C hook size 2.

The feathers of body are crocheted using pink tulip colored yarn (hook size 2.5 – 3.5 (e.g. “Catania”)

The tail feather consists of three feathers in different sizes which are crocheted separately. Each
feather is crocheted using pink tulip colored yarn (hook size 2.5 – 3.5 (e.g. “Catania”) as well as your
