ADVERTISEMENT FOR TYPE RATED TRE/TRI/CAPTAINS
Air India and its subsidiaries invites applications for the post of TYPE RATED
TRE/TRI/CAPTAINS for Airbus A319/320/321/330/ Boeing B777 /B737-800
from Foreign nationals fulfilling the requirements given below to fill up the
existing vacancies in Air India.
I) Experienced Type Rated TRE/TRI/Captains
1) TOTAL NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 50
2) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: (For all categories)
A) TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
Candidates should be in possession of:
i. ATPL licence issued by FAA/EASA(JAA)/ICAO contracting states (which
should be current at the time of application.)
ii. Endorsement on A319/320/321/330/B777/B737-800 aircraft (which
should be valid & current) at the time of application.
iii. Instrument Rating endorsement on ATPL on
A319/A320/321/330/B777/B737-800 aircraft (which should valid &
current) at the time of application.
iv. FRTO Licence issued by FAA/EASA(JAA)/ICAO contracting states (which
should be valid and current at the time of application)
v. RTR(P)/RTR(C)/RTR Licence issued by FAA/EASA(JAA)/ICAO contracting
states (which should be valid and current at the time of application)
B) FLYING EXPERIENCE ( FOR AIRBUS A319/320/321/BOEING B737)
i. For TRE :
Total experience - 4000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience(Multi Eng) - 2000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience on Type - 1250 hrs (minimum)
Glass Cockpit experience - 1250hrs (minimum)
ii. For TRI :
Total experience - 4000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience(Multi Eng) - 2000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience on Type - 1000 hrs (minimum)
Glass Cockpit experience - 1000 hrs (minimum)
iii. For Captains:
Total experience - 4000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience(Multi Eng) - 2000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience on Type - 500 hrs (minimum)
Glass Cockpit experience - 1000 hrs (minimum)

C) FLYING EXPERIENCE ( FOR AIRBUS A330/BOEING B777)
i. For TRE :
Total experience - 4000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience(Multi Eng) - 2000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience on Type - 1250 hrs (minimum)
Glass Cockpit experience - 1250 hrs (minimum)
ii. For TRI :
Total experience - 4000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience(Multi Eng) - 2000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience on Type - 1000 hrs (minimum)
Glass Cockpit experience - 1000 hrs (minimum)
iii. For Captains:
Total experience - 5000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience(Multi Eng) - 2000 hrs (minimum)
Command experience on Type - 700 hrs (minimum)
Glass Cockpit experience - 1000 hrs (minimum)
D) MEDICAL FITNESS:
1) Current Class- I Medical Fitness Certificate by FAA/EASA(JAA)/ICAO
contracting states.
2) Shall undergo Indian Class I Medical within a period of 3 months from the
date of issue of temporary FATA.
3) SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection Procedure consists of the following:
a) Personal Interview
b) Simulator Check
4) REMUNERATION: TO BE DISCUSSED
.
5) UNDERTAKING /PERFORMANCE BOND:
Type Rated Pilots on appointment will have to execute an Agreement/Surety
bond with AIR INDIA.
