Gedung Marabunta was originally built in 1874 as Gedung Schouwburg, a performance arts venue. Over time, Gedung Schouwburg fell into disrepair and was abandoned. Before it could collapse, the building's assets were salvaged and moved to a new, more suitable location. After renovation and a change of function, Gedung Marabunta was born - a new building with the same feel as the original Gedung Schouwburg. The menu provided is from Gedung Marabunta, offering Indonesian and international dishes.

DARI GEDUNG

MAR ABUNTA

Gedung Schouwburg merupakan bangunan yang


didirikan pada tahun 1874, pembangunannya memakan
waktu tiga tahun sehingga baru diresmikan pada tahun
1877, dan di fungsikan sebagai gedung pertunjukan seni.

Seiring berjalannya waktu, Gedung Schouwburg


mengalami turun pamor, hingga akhirnya terbengkalai.
Sebelum gedung ini roboh, aset bangunan Gedung
Schouwburg diselamatkan dan dipindahkan ke tempat
baru yang lebih layak.

Setelah mengalami perpindahan gedung, renovasi, dan


pengalihan fungsi bangunan, maka lahirlah Gedung
Marabunta. Sebuah bangunan baru yang memiliki kesan
persis seperti Gedung Schouwburg.
