Interview Script:
The House on Zapote Street Witness (Gene Quitangon)

SETTING: This interview takes place at the Quitangon Residence where the wake
of Leonardo and Lydia Quitangon is being held.

INTERVIEW
Reporter: Good evening everyone, we’re here today live at the wake of Leonardo and
Lydia Quitangon. Here with us today to tell us some information about the
Quitangon-Cabading case is Mr. Gene Quitangon.

Reporter: Mr. Quitangon, around what time did the incident occur? Can you give us a
bit of information about what you saw that time?

Gene Quitangon: It happened around 6 in the evening, when the van of policemen
came and as we sneaked into the residence the maid suddenly showed up panicking,
and that was the time I risked going inside the house.

Reporter: When you went inside the house, what was the first thing you saw?

Gene Quitagon: When the policeman and I heard a voice coming from the door, we
immediately pushed the door open. What I saw then was a room covered with blood
and the deceased body of my brother and his wife as well as her critically injured
mother.

Reporter: What of the perpetrator? Was he already dead when you came into the
room?

Gene Quitagon: Yes, Pablo Cabading was already dead there at the bed when we
opened the door.

Reporter: And how did the perpetrator meet his end?

Gene Quitagon: According to Mrs. Cabading, Pablo shot himself to death after killing
the couple and shooting his wife.

Reporter: Thank you so much for that information, Mr. Quitagon. May your family find
………….justice.
