 AD LDS- Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD 

LDS) is a Lightweight Directory


Access Protocol (LDAP) directory service that provides flexible support for directory-enabled
applications, without the dependencies and domain-related restrictions of Active Directory
Domain Services (AD DS).

 AD Sites and Services- It’s a windows server role which contain NTDS setting for sites which
contains replication topology. It also contains information about bridge-head server.

 File and storage service- This role enable the server to provide files, storage and share services
for domain users. It also used in web-based storage system in which user can access the file with
the given link.
