Handwriting Styles*
Handwriting that resembles its writer, that conveys the nuances, that
reveal the personality… Like no other, each nib offers light or heavy
handwriting, a passionate or forceful representation of one’s style or
character. The Extra-Fine (EF), Fine (F), Medium (M) and Broad (B) nibs
ensure a constant line, while the special Stub, Oblique Fine (OF) and
Oblique Broad (OB) nibs are designed to allow for thick and thin strokes.

Extrafine (EF) :
For light handwriting, a quick and precise line that “skims” over the paper.

Fine (F) :
Particularly adaptable to small, precise and light handwriting..

Medium (M):
Slightly more ink-flow for a sliding and medium sized style of handwriting.

Broad (B):
Suitable for a more assertive, generous hand and for signatures.

Stub (Stub) :
Another version of the broad nib, with a flat tip for a fine horizontal line (using the
length of the nib) and a thick vertical line (using its breadth).

Oblique Fine (OF) :

The tip of the nib is flat and bevelled to the left giving a style of handwriting with
fine up and down strokes.

Oblique Broad (OB):

A flat bevelled tip giving a style of handwriting with broad up and down strokes.
