FORM 2. PERSONAL STATEMENT
Rationalistic thinking and unprejudiced approach to things have been the corner stone of philosophy of my
life. Understanding all the facets of complexity of phenomenon and curiosity about finding underlying model
of natural processes defines my candor in the best possible way. A knack for diversity and the values that
make an egalitarian, progressive, free from entanglements and an all-inclusive society are the essential
components of my worldview. Continuous engagement with science and endeavoring to realize the spirit and
materialize the objectives of science have blessed me with an attitude that challenges the foundations of
irrationality, resist any force that tries to narrow down the wide horizons of human knowledge, to stand up
against any effort that tries to restraint human freedom and understanding. An attitude that welcomes inter-
culture interactions, supports harmony among diverse outlooks and aspires to enliven scientific inquiry and
promote human well hood through application of scientific methods.
Choosing Korea for education was itself a difficult task when you have option of lots of other countries.
My desire to pursue further study in South Korea is because it has the world most dynamic atmosphere and
high standard research methodologies that will be going to shape up my thinking and learning abilities. I
strongly believe that keeping up a curious and explorative attitude leads to a constant learning process. Apart
from the education standards of Korea, I am passionate to meet people coming from diverse cultures. The
diversity of student's union will open my mind to new ideas and new ways of doing things. The international
education will give me the training and the caliber to meet the global clients. South Korea is markedly
different from the rest of the world because of its culture, language and advance technology. The balance diet
and nutrients brought South Korea among top 12 countries having remarkable average lifetime of 83.5 years.
South Korea is Asia’s fourth-largest economy and one of the world’s leading financial centers. All these are a
few of its intriguing idiosyncrasies. Mental satisfaction plays a key role in progressive studies, as my
husband is currently doing Ph.D. from university of Ulsan South Korea is also one of the attractive and key
reason for me to continue my studies there.
Grew up in a middle-class family background built me capable that I started my educational career in
Swabi, Pakistan when I was 5 years old. There I had to adapt myself for the new lifestyle and language as
quick as possible. I found myself a quick learner and the situation made me very enthusiastic about foreign
languages as in Pakistan education is in English. I have been privileged enough to have obtained high quality
education right from childhood. Junior school endowed me love with nature and life and the delivered me
ability to grasp fundamentals. In High School I was able to foster my skills and it was here that I developed a
keen interest in medical field. Also, my craze and an insatiable appetite towards nature motivated me to mark
my carrier in the field of medical science and life from one of the competitive institutes The Quaid-e-Azam
Girls College Swabi, KP Pakistan and successfully completed my degree in year 2017 by obtaining good
grades of 83.8 %. During this period, I was introduced to the concepts of medical sciences. Besides this,
being an active and intellectual behavior, I had participated in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
like quiz competition, songs competition, stage drama, and hosted the stage for which I awarded.
The well-known saying “Health is wealth” exquisitely portrays the importance of medical science. Health
plays a substantial role towards the pursuance of one’s goals and dreams in life. The kind of food we
consume directly reflects on our health, therefore it is highly desirable to have a complete information of the
nutrients and other substances in the food. The field of medical science that deals with the interpretation of
the nutrients in food in relation to the maintenance, growth, health and disease of an organism is known as
nutrition. Statistics reveals an increase in the life expectancy and a reduction in the nutrition related diseases
in first world countries as a consequence of consuming healthy and nutrient rich foods. However, the story is
entirely opposite in the third world countries. For instance, in my country every year nearly two million
children suffer from malnutrition while every third person has diabetes or cardiac related issues. Mostly,
these issues arise owing to the lack of knowledge regarding the type of food suitable to meet the body
requirements. With this in my mind, I decide to pursue my career in the field of food and nutrition, which

will equip me with all the fundamental skills to help and support my people.
I intend to pursue my further studies in a renowned Institute at Korea. My quest for Silla university that
would help me to groom creative abilities and broaden my vision to explore new avenues for successful
professional career led me to your door step. As an exemplary institution having field-oriented team of
experts, state-of-the-art facilities, huge library and enviable infrastructure to strengthen the creative abilities
of students is certainly a Centre of Excellence. In the presence of such favorable environment, the
performance graph will definitely rise up to peak level and to scale new heights as well. Your Esteemed
University is the path to achieve my professional career goals with distinction. To contribute in creative and
innovative activities and to accept the challenging tasks by the academic rigor is my dream, which is inspired
by strong faculty in my desired field and strengthened by talented students. On the other hand, it is the best
way for me to remains in interaction with the other international students, their educational methodology,
libraries, different sort of communities, the ratio of social works and best point is to learn and share cultural
views that inaugurate the original theme of a peaceful world, such studies programs are quite reliable for
both Pakistan and Korea.

FORM 3. STUDY PLAN
Language Study
Plan
One of the reasons to pursue the bachelor studies in Korea is my fascination towards the Korean culture and
language (Hangul). Learning a new language is a hard task in one-year duration however, not impossible.
Therefore, I have started self-studying of Hangul using various apps and websites such as Papago, LingoDeer,
Naver.com, Udemy.com, Koreanclass101.com, and YouTube to get familiar basics of the Hangul. Besides, I
watch k-dramas which not only is a great source of entertainment but also helps me to in understanding the
Korean culture and language. The benefit of studying only Hangul for year will make it easier to participate in
extracurricular activities and interact with locals, which will helps to practice and further strengthen my
command over Hangul.
I have been influenced from my husband who is Graduate Research Assistant, currently doing PhD in Physics
from University of Ulsan, Korea. He has been awarded fully funded Professor Scholarship in 2019. It will be
more helpful to improve hangul to live close with my husband, who already did Korean language course.
Silla University, Korea, counted as a one of the top 30 universities in Korea which benefits international
students with diverse culture and languages. Silla university has an honor of nation-wide language school to host
KGSP scholars. Besides, GKS provides an opportunity to flourish and boost my global vision through
exchanging views, knowledge and culture among multinational environment. GKS is a best platform for me to
build invaluable relationships with Korean as well as peers all over the world.
Goal of study &
Study Plan
Owing to the fact, that most of my country people are unaware of the eating a healthy diet to the fulfill the
level of the essential nutrients. The desire to serve my country motivates me to pursue my career in the field of
food and nutrition. The effective management of food intake and nutrition are both key to good health. Smart
nutrition and food choices can help prevent disease. Eating the right foods can help your body cope more
successfully with an ongoing illness. Understanding good nutrition and paying attention to what you eat can help
you maintain or improve your health. In my point of view the happiness is related to a balance health and for the
balance health we need a proper nutrient acquired from balance food.
As a consequence, an insatiable appetite for the thirst of knowledge and learning encouraged me in studying
nutrients within food, which in my view is the future of the living world and is essential to understand the
nutrients inside food around us, their affect inside us, and their impact of deficiency on us. The study of nutrients
is one of the essential parts of science that helps the advancing knowledge of a healthy living world. Being a
medical student, I am familiar about the relation among living species and food and my keen interest is to pursue
my education in study of food and nutrition to make easy life to the present and future living world. To accept
the challenging task and face difficult situations have become in-separable habit of my life. Based on this
perspective, I have decided to play a key role in desired field in terms of Research and Development. The study
of ingredients/nutrients inside food makes me more active and stimulate my curiosity. My aim is to meet the
needs of time and collect specified knowledge and up to date information regarding food and nutrition.
Following Silla university major courses in field of nutrition appealed me due to broad course contents and
creative well experienced faculty. I would like to deeply study all the courses during my bachelor studies at Silla
university and will select one specified major for my higher studies which best match to my interest. I am
confident that my bachelor study will provide me sufficient knowledge and background in order to take up
specific field for specialization in future

Future Plan
after Study
My future plans are to take part in various activities in your university and put my hard work and resources to
succeed in my relevant field. Hard work is the key to every success, keeping this fact in mind, I always try to do,
what I want to do perfectly. The world-wide fame of Silla university requires very high standards for faculty and
students as well. After successful completion of my degree I will be more prepared with the multi skills and
techniques to bring better improvements in my professional and effective life style which will make me able to
choose a specified field according to my interest and need of current research era to pursue higher education in
Korea or other developed country. As Pakistan is passing lots of problems regarding health issues and different
kind of diseases due to large population, improper food, imbalanced nutrients and unawareness of health care. I
would like to serve my nation through online sessions during my higher studies for the betterment of my nation
by sharing my international excellence in practical life being a patriot citizen.
In conclusion, I would like to add that the essence of University education lies in the synergetic relationship
between the student and his department. I feel that study at Silla University will be the most logical extension of
my academic goals and a major step towards achieving my objectives. I would be very grateful to you to grant

FORM 6. PERSONAL MEDICAL ASSESSMENT
Attention! This form is just a personal medical assessment and applicants do not need to get comprehensive
medical examination for now. However, once applicants are successful in the 2nd round of selection, in
accordance with the requirements of the Korea Immigration Service and Global Korea Scholarship,
applicants must get a comprehensive medical examinations from a licensed physician or a doctor (including
TBPE drug test** etc.) before coming into Korea. All grantees must take another comprehensive medical
check-up (including, TBPE drug test) after coming into Korea in accordance with the requirements of the
Korea Immigration Service and the GKS. If the results show that the applicant is unfit to study and live
overseas, he/she may be disqualified.
