Winning and Losing
When I play games, I like to win.
When I win I can say things like,
“Good game” or “That was fun!”
Sometimes I lose. This makes me mad.
I do not like losing.
Sometimes when I lose I yell or
get mad at the winner.
When I get mad and yell, this
makes the winner sad.
Kids will not want to play games with
me. This will make me sad because I
like to play games.
When I lose, I need to STOP, take a
deep breath and think, “It’s OK,
maybe I will win next time.”
I can say, “Good game” or
“That was fun!”
Kids will be happy and want to
play games with me if I remember
not to get mad.
I am happy when kids want to play
games with me. It will make my
parents and teacher happy too.
