iPad & Procreate

Requirements:
iPad Pro
Apple Pencil or similar stylus
Procreate App

1. Opening the Worksheets

Click on the Plus (+) symbol,


found at the top right of the screen.

Click on the Import button.

Click the Import from... button.

Locate the worksheet you


want to open first and click
on it. It will then open it up.
2. Installing the Brushes

Click on the Paintbrush symbol,


found on the top menu bar.

Next, click on the + icon


next to the word Brushes.

Then click on the Then click on the

Locate the Brushes folder


and click on a brush to open.
3. Using the Worksheets

To access the layers, click


on the 2 squares icon in
the top right of the screen.

Each worksheet is set up


so there is a blank layer
to write on above every
practice letter.

To change to a different
letter, first hide the one
you are on by unticking
the box next to that layer.

Then click the tick box next to the


layer you want to work on next.
3. Using the Worksheets

To clear a layer so you


can start again, tap on the
layer and click on Clear.

4. Using the Brushes

Depending what iPad


size you have you
may need to alter the
size of the brush to
fit the sheets.

The bar found either


to the right or left of
the screen is where
you can change the
size of your brush.

The lower one


changes the opacity For the Uppercase letters, two
of your brush. brushes are required. The wide
one which is used for all the main
strokes and the thin monoline
one for the details.
6. Trouble Shooting

My brush seems to be at the wrong angle!

Sometimes when the iPad is switch from landscape to


portrait it can effect how the brush operates.

If this happens, open up the Brush panel and click on


the brush you’re using and it will take you to the settings
page and try either of these ways.

Click on General
and deselect Orient
to iPad Screen

Click on Source
and with 2 fingers
rotate the Shape
Source
