Description This water-based degreaser effectively removes heavy industrial oils from metal parts and
surfaces.

STEPOSOL® MET-10U 41.0 Surfactant/Solvent
NINOL® 11-CM 8.0 Emulsifier
NINATE® 411 8.0 Anionic Agent
BIO-TERGE® PAS-8S 10.0 Hydrotrope

Procedure 1. Charge Deionized Water.
2. With good agitation, slowly blend in NINOL® 11-CM.
3. When blended, add BIO-TERGE® PAS-8S and NINATE® 411.
4. Once clear, add STEPOSOL® MET-10U.
5. Mix until homogenous.

BIO-TERGE® PAS-8S is an approved ingredient on www.cleangredients.org. For further
information, visit www.cleangredients.org. BCI = 55. Total BCI (Biorenewable Carbon Index) was
calculated only for the Stepan surfactants used in this formulation. For further information on
Stepan's BCI, visit www.stepan.com. This formulation does not meet the California Air Resource
Board (CARB) VOC regulation for Consumer Products. "Consumer" is defined by CARB as any
person who seeks, purchases, or acquires any consumer product for personal, family, household,
or institutional use. For U.S. formulators, STEPOSOL® MET-10U is a low vapor pressure VOC
(LVP-VOC), therefore its contribution to the VOC calculation is zero. STEPOSOL® MET-10U does
not contribute to the VOC calculation because of its high boiling point and low vapor pressure.
Before using on plastic, hard or painted surfaces, spot test on an inconspicuous area first.
