How to Use Pokemon Fire Red Cheats Safely?

Here are a few best practices while using Pokemon cheats.

 Make sure you are using the US version of the FireRed ROM.
 It is recommended to use GBA emulators. iOS users can go for GBA4ios, while Android
users can play Pokemon FireRed on My Boy. For Windows and Mac PC/ laptop, use
Visual Boy Advance and OpenEmu respectively.
 Don’t activate more than 3 Pokemon Red cheats in a gaming session.
 Save your game progress before activating any Fire Red GameShark codes.
 After activating any Pokemon cheat, check your bag. In case you notice any irregularities
do not save the game.
 Once you have used the Pokemon cheat codes, turn off cheats.

How to Enter Pokemon Fire Red Cheats?


The way you enter Pokemon fire red emulator cheats depends on the emulator and the
OS you are using.

In case you are using GBA4ios or Visual Boy Advance, you can see the cheats option on
the menu.

To enter Pokemon Red cheats, click on the Cheat list and enter the description and
cheat code. Click Ok to confirm.
Once you have added the cheat code, check your bag and verify whether the cheat has
been successfully applied.
