2.1 There is no automated system that will forecast the monthly income.

2.2 Difficulty in forecasting the arrival of customers on a monthly basis.

2.3 The personnel are having a hard time finding the records of the guests.

2.4 There is difficulty in determining the daily reservations.

2.5 There is difficulty in determining the month with highest and the lowest

income.

Functions of the Proposed System

Easy to access information of payment and collection, Enable easy

authorized modification of data, Enforce security measures to avoid unauthorized

access to guest records, Ensure efficient and reliable communication within the resort,

Ensure efficient and reliable computations of data.

Features of the Proposed System

Features include:

● Resort management system will provide the forecast of the income for the month.

● Resort management system can track the guests who booked in the resort.

● Resort management system can provide easy access to the records of the

guests.

● Resort management system can provide a channel manager to automatically

give respond to the questions and booking of the customers.

● Resort management system can provide easy calculation on the monthly income

by using MS excel.

3.0 Reason for the Choice

The proponents main goal is to help the management of the resort to enhance its

management and provide efficient and effective communications within the resort. The

resort management system is designed to overcome problems of the resort. This will

help the personnels as well as the customers or the target users/beneficiaries of the

project proposal.

4.0 Target User/Beneficiaries

The target users/beneficiaries of this project proposal are the end users of the

system. They are the Client/Guest, Employees, Entrepreneurs, Management,

Future Researchers and students.
