The most popular holidays around the world

 Christmas

This is an annual and widely observed holiday, celebrated generally on


December 25 by millions of people around the world. Christmas is a civil
holiday in many of the world’s nations is celebrated by an increasing
number of non- Christians and is an integral part of the Christmas and
holiday season.

 Day of the dead

Día de los muertos, or day of the dead, is not a Mexican version of


Halloween. Though related, the two annual events differ greatly in traditions
and tone. In towns and cities throughout Mexico, revelers don funky
makeup and costumes, hold parades and parties, sing and dance, and
make offerings to lost loved ones.
