SUMMARY, CONCLUSION, RECOMMENDATION
Summary
These Action Research entitled “EVALUATION OF BACHELOR OF
SECONDARY EDUCATION MAJOR IN FILIPINO CURRICULUM DURING
PANDEMIC ON INSTRUCTION AND ASSESMENT” is taken by the Second Semester of
2020-2022 to the Students of Collage of Teacher Education major in Filipino of Nueva
Vizcaya State University of Bayombong Campus
These Action Research has 3 questions to answer
1. What are the students problems related to teaching?
2. What are the students problems related to learning?
3. What are the positive and negative experiences of students in relation to assessment in
terms of
a.) Content validity
b.) Face validity
c.) External reliability
d.) Scoring
e.) Administration of test
To answer these 3 question, we survey the answer in data taken from the answer open-ended
question to the students of the curriculum being evaluated in Facebook comments page.
Conclusion
Based on the major findings, the following conclusions
Were drawn.
1. The learning experiences of students applying the two approaches in learning help
them improve their knowledge performance. The effectiveness of these learning approaches
will increase the enthusiasm of the students in learning. This will make them active
participants in the learning Process. They will be challenged to construct the knowledge
Rather than become passive reservoir of knowledge in the Classroom. The desire of
the students to learn with the help of technology will make them accomplish a variety of
tasks and perform better in the lesson.
2. The Evaluation of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino Curriculum during
Pandemic on Instructional and Assessment approach is more effective than the constructive
learning approach. It is because the Pandemic learning approach matched with the
learning styles and needs of the students. This new approach in learning will help
the students learn better and achieve better Learning outcomes. This will guide
the students to learn independently later on and open the possibility that they can
construct the knowledge needed without the assistance of the teachers.
3. Both the Pandemic on Instructional and Assessment approaches in Learning have
played significant part to improve the learning Performance of the students. Therefore,
teachers can use these teaching strategies to improve the performance of the students.
These strategies can be used as well in different subject areas. The teachers who are
using these strategies will make the learners more active and reach student’s
success.
Recommendation
From the obtained results of the study and analysis of the collected data, the Researchers
would like to recommend for the future use of the ff;
1) Researchers would like to recommend the future students to further investigate the
reasons or factors on why they cannot afford online modality of learning.
2) Overall the Researchers wants the students to improve all the negative experience of
the students in modality of learning in other to boost themselves to be active and
develop their weaknesses to be their strength for their future performance.
3) That teachers be informed or aware of all developments occurring in the field of
education, particularly how they manage student problems in connection to teaching
and learning.
4) In future research related to student problems in relation to teaching and learning this
result will help school administrations. This study will be one of the foundations in
developing the school curriculum Maintaining and growing meaningful learning.
5) Researchers further recommend the teachers and other staffs to facilitate the students
in coping up with their weaknesses with online modality of learning and teaching.
6) The researcher’s must informed the teachers about this study or the said problem that
are facing of the students to be able to have an adjustment or solution to the learnings.
7) To the next researcher’s for this topic, they must have deeper research on what is the
real reason why learner’s does has difficulty in learnings most especially in online
modality.
