MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise technical services staff of 04 chemists in Quality Control Department.
Review and reporting of used oil sample reports after monitoring trends within
stipulated time frame.
Provide technical support to Customers.
Inspect and test fresh lube oil samples and ensure that products meet all specified
parameters.
Carry out formulation optimizations and pilot blend developments as per the
production and technical requirements.
Provide analytical and technical advice on re-blend of off specs lubricants and safe
disposal of rejects in a cost effective manner.
Carry out calibration of instruments and viscometer tubes as specified in calibration
schedule.
Perform periodic stock counting of laboratory chemicals and ensure testing activities
are not delayed due to unavailability of chemicals, raw materials etc.
Maintain testing, QC records data, documentation work and inventory items in lab.
Ensure quality checks, testing, validation and cross verification on products at all
stages of process as per defined guidelines, procedures and work instructions.
Conduct maintenance of laboratory equipment’s and liaise with equipment supplier for
immediate repair of malfunctioning instruments.
Maintain and implementation of ISO 17025:2017 in Lab.
Maintain and implementation of SAP QM Module in Lab.
Give assistance to maintain and implementation of ISO 9001:2015 in LOBP.

Perform internal audit of ISO 17025:2017 and give assistance for the internal
audit of ISO 9001:2015.
Provide backup support in absence of Manager.
Fulfil procurement activity / purchasing demands in lab throughout the year.
Make lab budget plan every year.
Working as a SHE Coordinator in lab to ensure each employee must wear PPE’s and
participate in strong housekeeping practices.
Timely update of Quality Incident into log and investigate the same.
Conduct Root Cause analysis for each activity performs in Lab.
Give feedback and solutions for the root causes of quality problems.
Development and training of laboratory new staff regarding Quality matters.
