Actions Required:

1. Remove Collector Cover, Junction Box Cover (if present) and Drum Insert (if present).
2. Route wire into drum and through the hub. For reels with a drum insert the cable must first
be routed through the grommet in the insert before going into the drum.
3. Attach wires to corresponding leads on collector ring using appropriate connectors. Verify
reel & cable do not bind on rotation.
4. Make corresponding in coming connection in the junction box (if present) or route incoming
wires to the back side of the collector plate.
5. Check wire continuity from input to output. Reinstall drum insert and attach cable to drum
using a cable clamp.
6. Reinstall collector cover and junction box cover.
7. Reconnect all power sources and wind cable onto spool.
