Our school will hold a poetry reading competition which will be held on May 15, 2019.
Poetry is required to be a work of its own with a free theme.Free registration is free of charge,
starting from 6 to 9 May 2019 in the Student Council room. Register yourself immediately
because there are many prizes. Thank you – Student Council

Sekolah kita akan mengadakan lomba membaca puisi yang akan diadakan pada tanggal 15
Mei 2019. Puisi wajib menjadi karya tersendiri dengan tema gratis.Pendaftaran gratis tidak

I always come late to school
Last week was the first day I was late to school.I had never came late to school
before.Before sleeping, I set my alarm to 05.00.But then, I woke up at 08.00 because the alarm
didn’t ring.After I woke up, I realized that my alarm was broken.I panicked and rushed to
bathroom and changed to my school uniform.I grab my bike and rode it with full speed to
school.When I arrived, I was punished for being late. next day, I bought a new alarm to prevent
me from doing the same mistake.

Pengalaman terlambat ke sekolah
Pekan lalu adalah kali pertama aku datang terlambat ke sekolah.Sebelumnya, aku tidak
pernah datang terlambat ke sekolah.Sebelum tidur, aku mengatur alarm agar berbunyi pada pukul
05.00.Setelah itu, aku bangun pukul 08.00 karena jam alarm tidak berbunyi.Saat bangun, aku
baru sadar bahwa jam alarm rusak.Aku panik dan buru-buru pergi ke kamar mandi, lalu
mengenakan seragam.Kemudian, aku mengambil sepedaku dan mengayuh dengan kecepatan
penuh untuk pergi ke sekolah.Ketika tiba, aku dihukum karena terlambat.Keesokan harinya, aku
membeli jam alarm baru untuk mencegahku melakukan kesalahan yang sama.

The Ant and the Dove
One hot day, an ant was seeking for some water. After walking around for a moment, she
came to a spring. To reach the spring, she had to climb up a blade of grass. While making her
way up, she slipped and fell unintentionally into the water.
She could have sunk if a dove up a nearby tree had not seen her. Seeing that the ant was in
trouble, the dove quickly put off a leaf from a tree and dropped it immediately into the water
near the struggling ant. Then the ant moved towards the leaf and climbed up there. Soon it
carried her safely to dry ground.
Not long after at that, there was a hunter nearby who was throwing out his net towards the
dove, hoping to trap it in this way.Guessing what he should do, the ant quickly bit him on the
heel. Feeling the pain, the hunter dropped his net and the dove flew away quickly from this net.
The morality: One good turn deserves another.
Semut dan Merpati
Pada suatu hari yang panas, seekor semut sedang mencari air. Setelah berkeliling sejenak,
dia sampai ke sebuah mata ai. Untuk mencapai mata air itu, dia harus memanjat rumput. Ketika
ia memanjat ke atas, ia terpeleset dan tanpa sengaja jatuh ke dalam air.
Dia mungkin tenggelam jika burung merpati di atas pohon di dekatnya tidak melihatnya.
Melihat bahwa semut dalam kesulitan, burung merpati cepat memetik daun dari pohon dan
langsung menjatuhkannya ke dalam air dekat semut yang mencoba menyelamatkan diri itu.
Kemudian semut bergerak menuju daun dan naik ke atasnya. Segera terbawa dengan selamat ke
tanah kering.
Tidak lama setelah saat itu, ada seorang pemburu yang membuang jaring ke arah burung
merpati, berharap untuk menjebaknya dengan cara ini .Berfikir sejenak tentang apa yang harus ia
lakukan,kemudian semut cepat menggigit tumit orang tersebut. Merasakan sakit, pemburu
menjatuhkan jaringnya dan kemudian burung merpati terbang cepat keluar dari jarring tersebut.
Pesan Moral: Satu perbuatan baik layak mendapat kebaikan yang lain .
