FREE COACHING to Scheduled Caste (and other ST, BC) Candidates for IAS Exam

A.P. Study Circle (APSC) Hyderabad, invites applications from the eligible SC, ST and BC candidates for admission into the FREE Coaching Program for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam- 2011 which Includes free classes, free books, free boarding, lodging and other benefits. I. Eligibility- (1) Only candidates belonging to SC, ST and BC can apply (2) Candidate shall at least be a Postgraduate or a Professional/Technical Graduate. (3) Age limit as on 1st August 2010 is 35 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, 33 years for Backward Classes and 40 years for Physically Handicapped. (4) The candidates and his/her parents combined annual income should not exceed Rs.1.00 Lakh. (5) Candidates who are employed or are undergoing regular/correspondent courses of education are not eligible. (6) Candidates, who have already taken coaching facility anywhere in India, are not eligible. II. Reservations- 75%- Scheduled Castes, 10%- Scheduled Tribes, 15%- Backward Classes, 3%-Physically Handicapped candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC selected across all categories with the whole state as a unit and 50%- Women candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC in each category. III. Selection Procedure- There will be no Screening Test. The selection will be based on Merit by giving rankings arrived at by calculating the average of the marks obtained by the candidate as verified from the Marks Memos of SSC/10th Class, Intermediate, Degree and Post Graduation submitted by him/her. Each District will be treated as a separate unit and the reservation quotas will be applied among the natives of each District except for PH for whom the entire state will be the unit. 8 candidates per District or 184 candidates in all will be admitted in this batch. APPLICATION FORMS- The candidate is to prepare his/her own application form by neatly copying or typing the Application Form and then fill it by writing or typing neatly. Application Form is printed on Page 5 of The Hindu news paper on 23rd May 2010 and on Page 3 of Andhra Jyothy news paper on 23rd May 2010. Last Date for Submission of Application Forms: 25-06-2010. Applications received after the last date, incomplete applications and applications without enclosures or photo will be summarily rejected. Enclosures to the application- (1) Community, Nativity and Date of Birth Certificate as per GOMs No.58 Social Welfare(J) Dt.12-05-97, (2) Income Certificate, (3) Pass Certificate of his/her highest educational qualification, (4) Copies of Marks Memos of SSC, Intermediate, Graduation and Post Graduation (if from a Non-Technical or NonProfessional Course)(Graduation if from a technical or professional course), (5) Transfer Certificate of the course last studied, (6) Self addressed cover with Rs. 5/- stamps. Note: Candidates using fake certificates or Marks Memos will be blacklisted for the present admission and all future admissions and also legal action will be taken against the candidate.
