Motor Control Center
Motor control centers were first used in the 1950s in automobile manufacturing to control the many electric
motors used in process lines. Now, MCCs are used all over the world, across many applications such as
water and wastewater treatment and oil and gas.

                  ArcBlok™ arc isolation unit is a game changer
                  in equipment protection and safety-related work

Protecting your assets
by design
Absence of Voltage Tester (AVT)
When servicing electrical equipment, workers must comply
with best safety practices, which includes verification of the
absence of voltage in a unit. The Panduit AVT unit allows
workers to validate the absence of power in a unit, without
opening the door, providing an enhanced layer of protection.
Energy Reduction
Maintenance Setting (ERMS)
The energy reduction maintenance setting (ERMS) is an option
designed to temporarily reduce the instantaneous pickup
setting of the circuit breaker while performing maintenance.
Closed Door Racking (CDR)
CDR allows workers to rack out circuit breakers from the
vertical bus without opening the door.
Remote Racking
A remote option works in combination with the CDR feature
to enable workers to operate the racking device outside
of the arc flash boundary.
3-inch Service Port
The service port provides convenient temporary power
and network access at the front of the MCC.
MTZ Breaker
The Masterpact MTZ Breaker provides enhanced protection,
