Surah Al-Fatihah
(The Opener)
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir
Raheem
In the Name of Allah—the Most
Compassionate, Most Merciful
Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil
'aalameen
All praise is for Allah—Lord of
all worlds
Ar-Rahmaanir-Raheem
the Most Compassionate, Most
Merciful
Maaliki Yawmid-Deen
Master of the Day of Judgment
Iyyaaka na'budu wa lyyaaka
nasta'een
You ˹alone˺ we worship and You
˹alone˺ we ask for help
Ihdinas-Siraatal-Mustaqeem
Guide us along the Straight
Path
Siraatal-ladheena an'amta 'alaihim ghayril-maghdoobi 'alaihim wa lad-
daaalleen
the Path of those You have blessed—not those You are displeased with, or
those who are astray
Chapter 114
Surah An-Naas
(The Mankind)
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
In the name of Allah, The Most
Gracious, The Most Merciful
Qul a'oodhu birabbin naas
1. Say, "I seek refuge in the
Lord of mankind
Malikin naas
2. The Sovereign of
mankind
Ilaahin naas
3. The God of mankind,
Min sharril waswaasil
khannaas
4. From the evil of the
retreating whisperer
Alladhee yuwaswisu fee
‘sudoorin naas
5. Who whispers [evil] into
the breasts of mankind
Minal jinnati wannaas
6. From among the jinn and
mankind
Chapter 113
Surah Al-falaq
(The daybreak)
Qul a'oodhu bi rabbil-falaq
Say, "I seek refuge in the
Lord of daybreak
Min sharri maa khalaq
From the evil of that which
He created
Wa min sharri ghaasiqin
idhaa waqab
And from the evil of
darkness when it settles
Wa min sharrin-naffaa-saati
fil 'uqad
And from the evil of the
blowers in knots
Wa min sharri haasidin izaa
hasad
And from the evil of an
envier when he envies
Chapter 112
Surah Al-ikhlas
(The sincerity)
Qul huwal laahu ahad
Say, "He is Allah, [who is]
One
Allah hus-samad
Allah, the Eternal Refuge
Lam yalid wa lam yoolad
He neither begets nor is
born
Wa lam yakul-lahoo
kufuwan ahad
Nor is there to Him any
equivalent
Chapter 110
Surah An-nasr
(The divine support)
Idha jaaa'a nasrul-laahi walfath
When the victory of Allah has
come and the conquest,
Wa ra-aitan naasa yadkhuloona fee deenil
laahi afwajaa
And you see the people entering into the
religion of Allah in multitudes,
Fasabbih bihamdi rabbika wastaghfirh, innahoo
kaana tawwaaba
Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and
ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever
Accepting of Repentance.
Chapter 109
Surah al-kafirun
(The disbelievers)
Qul yaaa-ayyuhal kaafiroon
Say, "O disbelievers,
Laaa a'budu maa
t'abudoon
I do not worship what you
worship.
Wa laaa antum 'aabidoona
maaa a'bud
Nor are you worshippers of
what I worship.
Wa laaa ana 'abidum maa
'abattum
Nor will I be a worshipper
of what you worship
Wa laaa antum 'aabidoona
maaa a'bud
Nor are you worshippers of
what I worship.
Lakum deenukum wa liya
deen.
For you is your religion,
and for me is my religion.
Chapter 108
Surah al-kawthar
(The abundance)
Innaaa a'tainaa kal kauthar
Indeed, We have granted
you, [O Muḥammad], al-
Kawthar.
Fasalli li rabbika wanhar
So pray to your Lord and
offer sacrifice [to Him
alone].
Inna shaani'aka huwal
abtar
Indeed, your enemy is the
one cut off.
Chapter 103
Surah al-’asr
(The time)
Wal 'asr
By time,
Innal insaana lafee khusr
Indeed, mankind is in loss,
Illal ladheena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa
tawaasaw bilhaqqi wa tawaasaw bissabr
Except for those who have believed and done
righteous deeds and advised each other to truth
and advised each other to patience.
Chapter 2;255
Ayatul kursi
(The verse of the throne)
Allahu laaa ilaaha illaa Huwal Haiyul Qaiyoom; laa
taakhuzuhoo sinatuw wa laa nawm; lahoo maa fissamaawaati
wa maa fil ard; man zal lazee yashfa'u indahooo illaa bi-iznih;
ya'lamu maa baina aydeehim wa maa khalfahum wa laa
yuheetoona bishai'im min 'ilmihee illaa bimaa shaaa'; wasi'a
Kursiyyuhus samaawaati wal arda wa laa Ya'ooduhoo
hifzuhumaa; wa Huwal Aliyyul 'Azeem
Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped
but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (the Ever Living, the One Who
sustains and protects all that exists). Neither slumber nor
sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the
heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is he that can
intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows
what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what
will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never
compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He
wills. His Kursî extends over the heavens and the earth, and
He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He
is the Most High, the Most Great.
