RPG Installation 1109

The document provides installation instructions for Rockford Profile Linear Guide Rails in a two rail system with a positive reference edge on the master rail. It involves 15 steps: 1) Prepare the mounting surfaces for the rails by removing burrs and debris. 2) Mount the master rail against the datum edge and lightly tighten bolts. 3) Install the auxiliary rail and align it parallel to and at the proper height relative to the master rail. 4) Install blocks, end seals, and any other accessories before tightening all bolts and verifying smooth operation.

Installation

Procedure

Rockford Profile Linear Guide Rails are manufactured to be interchangeable, meaning that either side of the rail
can be used as a primary locating datum edge. When two or more rails are used in a parallel system, one of the rails
is considered the master rail while all others are auxiliary. In a single rail installation there is only a master rail.
