Tier 1:
Cars vs pop culture characters: Type of Youtube vids of giant characters from
movies, shows or games destroying vehicles coming towards them
Drive for Treasure: An achievement where you have to drive a sunken car in the
island hub
Malice In Woonderland rework: Part of the 1.0 update, the rework made it so you
have to destroy the rides without destroying the signs.
Fine arts: A mission in the part 1 of the game, it’s notorious for being very hard
to 100%
Treadmill: A treadmill found in the main hub, popularized by Youtuber Sm117y
Protagonists face: Assuming this is related to the 3D model of the protagonist
found in the game’s ending credits
Multiplayer: There is a mod that adds multiplayer to Teardown
Villa credits screen: Probably the credits in the movie theater
Developer group photo: After 1.0 released, the devs took a group photo, viewable in
the Discord (Thanks to u/Punto_ for pointing this out, sorry I can’t get your
username right btw)
Tier 2:
The bus: I assume this is referring to the bus that drops you off at the beginning
of the game and the island hub
Floating buildings: There used to be a bug where some buildings would still float
while all the supports are knocked out. After an update, the bug is less common to
happen.
Banana: If you go in the furnace in the main hub, you’ll end up in a cave that
leads to a banana valuable.
Phasing through objects: I assume this is the speedrun technique used to phase
through doors and other objects.
LethalLarryWash: LethalLarryWash is one of the developers of the game.
Dennis worked on Smash Hit: Smash Hit is a mobile game made by Dennis himself
(surprising). The game consists of throwing metal balls at glass before you run out
of them. The game was very popular at the time. Dennis would also work on other
games like Do Not Commute, Pinout!, and others.
Plank Flying: Plank Flying was a technique where the player would use 2 planks to
fly across the map. This was patched in an update.
Old logo: The old logo was just text of the word Teardown in the menu screen, this
was changed in the 0.7.2 update. (I assumed this to be the Teardown logo but it
could also be the Tuxedo Labs logo).
Scaled Vox Model Physics: I assume these were models of things where the voxels are
smaller than the regular size?
Workshop Crane Wars: The Crane Wars were where 2 people (Idk their names) tried to
make the bigger crane than the other. (This is assumption).
Misplaced Wheels: Misplaced wheels happen when a wheel is misplaced on a vehicle
(writing 100), resulting with the vehicle looking uneven or just weird.
Tier 3:
Snowing Marina and Villa: Snowy Marina and Villa only appear in the credits of the
game (credits after part 2, not the credits in the menu). For some reason, they
aren’t playable. (Thanks to Punto again for this info)
Evertides Parking garage: There was a parking garage in the Evertides map. It was
removed some point in the game.
Teardown logo redesign: They changed the old logo (mentioned in tier 2) to a new
one in 0.7.2 which adds the famous hammer.
Suggestions channel: Discord channel in the server that is closed. Used for
suggestions for the game
Voxel spawning through pipebombs: You can mod the pipebomb so it can throw any
model you want
Moving The Goods rework: It was reworked alongside “Malice in Woonderland” which
was part of the 1.0 update. The update made the mission easier.
Broken Alarms: There is a rare bug that happens when you get an item, the alarm
won’t go off.
Isla Estocastica skeleton: There is a skeleton around the left corner of the map,
however it is inside the island itself so you have to noclip through to see it.
Spiders: Dennis made ai spiders in a tweet.
Kneddmod: It was a mod that let you spawn items before the Spawn update came out.
Emil’s door level: I think this is referring to the custom made level by Emil which
included “Resident Emil’s Fabulous Door Company” revealed in the Discord.
Create button: The create button was a removed feature where you were able to
create maps.
Tier 4:
Teardown Ireland Alliance: An r/place thing where Ireland, Teardown, and a few
others protected each other’s art
Mysterious Cranes in Quilez Sky: In the skybox, There are cranes visible in the sky
in the Quilez map. (Credits to GGProGaming for help on this and the one above, Prop
Dude and op too!)
Bluetide Computers speedboat: The speedboat has been moved 3 different times around
the map for no apparent reason
Villa Gordon Unbreakable Metal Girder: Underneath the messy bedroom area, a pillar
with an unbreakable girder is inside, there is no way to break it as of now.
Hollowrock vault: Underneath the red building, a vault can be found. To enter it,
you have to enter a vent in a nearby cave. The vault has 2 expensive valuables.
Taxi vehicle: I assume this is the taxi that drops you off after the island hub
missions are done.
Vehicle and Island custom maps: These were removed Example mod maps
Nitro Hammer: If you give nitro to the Discord server. You get the nitro hammer (I
think)
Frustrum Hat: In the sewer pipe in the river of Frustrum. You can find a hat
valuable that belonged to the statue near the hotel. (Due to there being no sewage
connection or way to access the pipe, I wonder how it got there?)
Hunting fluff artstyle: Hunting fluff artsyle is the profile pictured of the
characters when they email you missions in the computer.
Isle Estocastica boat trapdoor: The Tour Boat (blue, white, and orange boat) had a
trapdoor at the back. However it was removed.
Tier 5:
Spiders: Already mentioned in Tier 3.
Mega Model Pack: The Mega Model Pack is a workshop mod that includes all of the
games models and makes them spawnable.
Spinning Lighthouse: With the Physics gun mod, if you freeze the rotating light at
any lighthouse. The lighthouse would start to spin
Banana pipebomb: There is an official mod by the devs that turn the pipebomb model
into a banana.
Flashlight in credits: For some reason, you can turn on your flashlight while
watching the credits.
Quilez Poker Club: If you go to the parking garage bathroom. If you go to the stall
at the right, you can open the wall that reveals a door to the club.
Sideways Rifle: The sideways rifle is a weapon from the game Fortnite. (Idk why
this is here)
Original Havoc in Paradise objectives: The fridge target in this mission was
replaced with nitroglycerin.
Testbild.lua: Testbild is an old lua script found in the data folder. Its theorized
that it was used to test something and then it was left in the files.
Jerma Teardown Dev banana inside joke: The banana is an inside joke in the Jerma
community. The Teardown devs added the furnace banana as a reference to him.
NFTs: During April Fools 2022, Teardown devs announced they were adding NFTs to the
game as an April fools joke.
Main Menu Mouse Lock: When you boot up the game (in windowed) and alt tab to
another window, the mouse will be locked to the center of the screen.
Teardown UMF: UMF is the Teardown Unofficial Modding Framework that changes stuff
on how mods are made.
Handle with Care rework: I think the rework was that they made it easier for the
barrels to explode.
Tier 6:
Blue Propane tanks: In the image of Tier 6, you can see blue propane tanks to the
left in boxes. This is weird as there are only red ones in the game.
Art Return extra painting: There used to be an extra painting in the Art
Marina Recolored Lee Chemical assets: Some of the props in the marina, specifically
the industrial part, are recolors of props from Lee Chemicals.
TuxedoLabs Email: When you completed Part 1 of the game, you would’ve gotten an
email by TuxedoLabs however this was removed.
Art Return Extra Painting: There used to be an extra painting in the Art Return
mission but it was later removed. Those who have completed the mission then would
have gotten the 211 score.
Unused Objectives: There are some unused objectives found in the game files like
toxic waste, Woo motor parts, and the alpha hack panels.
VR mod: An upcoming VR mod is being made for Teardown.
Museum level: There was going to be a Museum level for Part 2 of the campaign,
however the idea was dropped. Emil was going to be the manager.
Gordon Woo Arms Dealer: There is a theory that Gordon Woo is an Arms Dealer. I
should also note that he has gun cases in the storage room. (And he supplied bombs
for the tower level).
Drive to Survive: Drive to Survive is an example mod map where you have to race
against the clock to survive or else you explode.
Early Frustrum: An earlier, older version of Frustrum can be seen in one of Emil’s
posts.
Gordon Woo’s dad: William Woo is Gordon Woo’s father. He was a professional racecar
driver and won many races. His urn can be found in a secret room in the garage.
Moonlit.dds: Moonlit.dds is the old Evertides skybox that isn’t being used for now.
Car Transport Trailer: The Car Transport Trailer is a vehicle that was added in the
1.0 update. However, the vehicle was introduced all the way back to the first early
access phase.
Green chair: Prop Dude, a prominent member of the community, kept on provoking (in
a friendly way) the devs to add it to the game. That's literally it.
Pickle: In a campaign news report, it was reported that BlueTide pickles are
explosive if they come in contact with fire.
Tier 7:
Teardown devs kept being blackmailed: Someone tried to extort the devs via
blackmail. However, they didn’t have anything so their attempts were unsuccessful.
Mod Council: The Mod Council was used to ask questions about the mod system.
However, it was disbanded; however you can still see the roles in the Discord.
Entire game is just hallucinations: Another theory about Teardown. The theory
suggests that because they were able to enter high security places with no one
besides signs of like and that when you break stuff, it automatically gets fixed,
and that they have superhuman strength, and etc.
Hollowrock “Secrets” layer: In the editor, there is a “secrets” layer for the map.
Teardown on iGPU: It was found out that newer iGPUs can run Teardown. Although with
slower load times.
Hollowrock Torture room: I assume this is the room in the mansion with the chair
that says “Don’t really want to sit there”.
Gasmask men: ???
Unofficial Teardown server: There used to be an unofficial Teardown discord where
there were many people, even some of the devs were in. It has been archived.
Nitroglycerin typo: In the upgrade screen, there is a typo, instead of the proper
spelling, It says Nigroglycerin.
211 score: Remember the Art Return extra painting? Those who completed it with the
extra would have 211 score instead of the maximum 210 score.
This took a long time to make. If there are any mistakes or errors feel free to
