J2. GTAW equipment shall be fitted with @ High Frequency starting unit and a crater eliminating slope out control.
3. Tack welding parameters: Same as per root pass.
4. Bridge / Bar materials: Same as per Base metal. Tacking Inside the groove is not allowed.
|S. Welds shall not be allowed to cool down until atleast half the wall thickness has been welded
6. Welding shell not be carried out when the degree of protection does not permit satisfactory workmanship,
7. Stray arc shall be avoided. Are Strikes if any shall be ground smooth and grounded area shall be PT tested.
