Type SF Positive Chokes
The Masterchoke SF-H2 choke is manufactured to
API 6A design and quality requirements. Valves are
available in Material Classification AA through HH and
most Temperature Classifications and Performance
Specification Levels (PSL). Valves are available in
Adjustable (needle and seat) or Fix Bean (positive)
configuration. Most models will allow conversion from
the Fix Bean configuration to the Adjustable format. The
Fix Bean choke is supplied and prepared to accept Flow
Beans or Bean adaptors as required by the desired Bean
size. Flow Beans are available in 1/16 inch increments.
The Bean geometry is interchangeable with most
positive choke manufacturers and is available in HJ and
BJ configuration.
Choke Beans are available in both Hardened Stainless
steel to resist moderate erosion conditions and Stainless
steel with Tungsten Carbide liners for highly erosive
conditions.
