Christian Prophecy Explained

The document discusses the abomination of desolation mentioned in the books of Daniel and the gospels. It explores different interpretations of what this referred to historically, with some arguing it referred to events under the rule of Antiochus IV Epiphanes, while others believe it also refers symbolically to future events. Specifically, the document argues that when Jesus refers to the abomination of desolation, he was using the past event as a symbolic reference to something that would occur 1,290 years later and remove mankind's ability to attainone for sins through Jesus Christ, which the author believes was fulfilled by the establishment of the papacy.
