HOW TO INSTALL MOXA

1. CLICK START AND THEN CLICK COMPUTER, AFTER THAT RIGHT CLICK ON COMPUTER AND
CLIC MANAGE. WILL SHOW YOU COMPUTER MANAGEMENT (PIC NO.1), CLICK DEVICE
MANAGERS (PIC NO. 2) ON THE RIGHT PANEL CLICK OTHER DEVICE AND CHOOSE PCI
SERIAL PORT (PIC NO.3) RIGHT CLICK ON PCI SERIAL PORT AND CHOOSE UPDATE DRIVER
SOFTWARE.

2. AFTER THAT WILL SHOW YOU UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE, CHOOSE BROWSE MY
COMPUTER FOR DRIVER SOFTWARE (PIC NO.4). AND BROWSE WHERE YOU PUT
APPLICATION FOR MOXA, INSTALLER DRIVER ON DRIVE D:/ AND DON’T FORGET TO CLICK
INCLUDE SUBFOLDER AND CLICK NEXT. WILL AUTOMATICALY SEARCH DRIVER INSTALLER
ON DRIVE D:/ OR WHERE EVER YOU LOCATED YOUR DRIVER INSTALLER. IF FINISH WILL
SHOW YOU WINDOWS SUCCESSFULLY UPDTAE YOUR DRIVER SYSTEM (PIC NO.5) IF NOT
BACK TO (PIC NO.4) AND CHOOSE WHERE YOU LOCATED YOUR DRIVER INSTALLER.

3. ON OTHER DEVICE WILL SHOW YOU MOXA COMUNNICATION PORT THERE IS 8 PORT
WITH YELLOW SIGN (PIC NO.6). RIGHT CLICK ON MOXA COMUNICATION PORT AND CLICK
UPDATE DRIVER AND BROWSE WHERE YOU PUT APPLICATION FOR MOXA, INSTALLER
DRIVER ON DRIVE D:/ AND DON’T FORGET TO CLICK INCLUDE SUBFOLDER AND CLICK
NEXT. WILL AUTOMATICALY SEARCH DRIVER INSTALLER ON DRIVE D:/ OR WHERE EVER
YOU LOCATED YOUR DRIVER INSTALLER. DO IT TO ALL PORT UNTIL 8 PORT LIKE (PIC NO.
7).

4. ON PORTS (COM & LPT), NOW WE CHANGE PORT ON COMMUNICATION PORT (COM 1)
BY RIGHT CLICK ON COMMUNICATION PORT (COM1) CHOOSE PROPERTIES. AFTER THAT
CHOOSE PORT SETTINGS, ON PORT SETTING CLICK ADVANCED AND THEN CHOOSE COM
PORT NUMBER AND CHANGED IT TO COM 11 AND CLICK OK.
5. STILL ON PORTS (COM & LPT), NOW WE CHANGE MOXA COMMUNICATION PORT 1 TO
COM 2. CHOOSE MULTI-PORT SERIAL ADAPTERS, RIGHT CLICK ON MOXA CP-118U SERIES
AND CLICK PROPERTIES. (PIC NO.8). AND CHOOSE PORT CONFIGURATION, CLICK PORT
SETTING (PIC NO.9) CHANGE PORT NUMBER TO COM 2 AND CLICK OK. DO IT TO ALL PORT
1 – 8 BEING ASSIGNED TO COM 2 TO COM 9 (PIC NO. 10). FINISHED
