Germination

Members: Ignacio Chaves, Inoah Martinez.

Hypothesis: We predict that the bag with 5mL of water will grow more faster than the others.
Purpose of experiment: Early emergence of the many plants that need to be cultivated is
made possible by germination. It also increases seed production and, as a result, the number of
beneficial plants that can be grown (elimination of excess seedlings)

Introduction
It is possible to describe seed germination as the fundamental process by which various plant species
develop from a single seed into a plant. This procedure affects crop output and quality

The above-mentioned techniques using cotton and napkins considerably speed up the germination of
the seeds, enabling them to be planted later in their final position with confidence that the sprouts will
grow properly.

There are further things you can do, such as giving kids seeds that germinate quickly. These are perfect
for helping young children understand plants better and develop an interest in gardening. Some
varieties of these seeds have a highly rapid germination rate.

The majority of the components needed for seed germination are already present in seeds, which
makes them self-contained systems. However, air, water, and warmth are the three main triggers for
germination.
