NOTE:

- This pattern does not contain crochet or knitting lesson, so it is necessary


to have basic knowledge of crocheting to understand it.
- The skill level is intermediate.
- It is prohibited to sell this pattern or its translated versions. No copying,
publishing or distribution.
- You are allowed selling the finished product made this pattern.
- Head, arm, leg and body: use both duckling and baby bear.

MATERIALS:

- Yarn and crochet hook size: depends on your choice, I use Milk Cotton
125g (made in China) with main color: light pink and crochet hook size
2.5mm.
- One pair of black safety eyes size 10mm.
- Fiberfill
- Stitch maker
- Scissors
- Black embroidery thread.

ABBREVIATIONS:
- MR: magic ring
- ch: chain
- slst: slip stitch
- rnd(s): round(s)/rows
- sc: single stitch
- inc: increase ( 2 single crochet in indicate stitch)
- dec: decrease ( single crochet 2 stitches together, use the invisible
decrease)
- dc: double crochet

SIZE: The size of the puppy is depend on the yarn used. If you use the same
materials as me, the finished size is 15cm.

HEAD:
Make a chain of 5 ch, start in second ch from the crochet hook.
Rnd 1: inc, 2inc, 4sc into the last stitch, work on a long the other side: 2inc, inc.

Rnd 15: 10sc, (use maker for the first eye),

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.


Stuff the head with fiberfill.
Then, make eyes and embroider the nose and mouth with black embroidery
thread.

LEGS:
Rnd 1: 6 sc into MR (6)
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3-5: (3 rounds) 12 sc, slst. (12)
Fasten off and weaves in ends.

Make the second leg: repeating round 1-5 but do not cut the yarn as we join the
legs together to make the body. Stuff both legs firmly.

BODY:
From second leg make a chain of 5 ch.
Rnd 6: 12 sc on next 12 stitches of first leg (start from the slst of first leg), 5 sc
on the chain, 12 sc on 12 stitches of second leg, 5 sc on the other side of the
chain. (34)
Continue working the body:
Rnd 7: sc, (3sc, inc) x4, sc, (inc, 3sc) x4 (42)
Rnd 8-9: (2 rounds) 42 sc. (42)
Rnd 10: (3sc, inc, 3sc) x6 (48)
Rnd 11-14: (4 rounds) 48 sc (48)
Rnd 15: (5sc, dec, 5sc) x4 (44)
Rnd 16-18: (3 rounds) 44 sc (44)
Rnd 19: (9sc, dec) x4 (40)
Rnd 20-21: (2 rounds) 40 sc (40)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Stuff with fiberfill.
ARMS: (Make 2)
Rnd 1: 6 sc into MR (6)
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3-10: (8 rounds) 12 sc (12)
Rnd 11: (4sc, dec) x2 (10)
Do not stuff, flatten and fold the top of the arm, sew the 2 opposed stitches.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
EARS OF BEAR: (Make 2)
Rnd 1: 8sc into MR (8)
Rnd 2: 8inc (16)
Rnd 3-4: (2 rounds) 16sc (16)
Rnd 5: (2sc, dec) x4 (12)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing on the head. (beside picture).

BEAK OF DUCKLING: (use orange yarn)


Make a chain of 5 ch, start in second ch from the crochet hook.
Rnd 1: inc, 2sc, 3sc into the last stitch, work on a long the other side: 2sc, sc. (10)
Rnd 2: 10sc.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing on the head. (beside picture).

HAIR OF DUCKLING:
Make a chain of 6 ch, start in third ch from the crochet hook: 3dc into the first
stitch, 3sc. Continue, make a chain of 5 ch, start in third ch from the hook: 2dc
into the first stitch, 2sc.
Fasten off, sewing on the top of head. (beside picture)
