Application

Divide your floor into sections

Level the screed with a straightedge
Application
▪ Curing
Cover polyethylene sheet to hold the moisture in and aid the
curing process, sealed at the edges. Leave the screed
undisturbed for at least 7 days- 10 days, or longer
▪ For big floor area saw cut joints every 5-6m within 3-4 weeks
To prevent drying shrinkage cracks

Additional preparation:
1. Roughness the surface
2. Apply Bonding Agent
PU Mortar Bond
- For Improving Bonding Strength between Old Floor and New
Screed
- Reduce Cracks and Curling
3 options with slurry
▪ Cement
▪ PVA
▪ SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber)
▪ 35 - 40 mm thick depending on the floor tolerances
PU Mortar Bond Application
▪ Roughen the surface of the concrete
Make sure the entire surface is roughened, and no paint or
other material remains on the surface.
▪ Remove all dust and grease
Vacuum up all dust and debris, sprinkling with water to reduce
airborne particles. Remove grease stains if present.
▪ Apply Bonding Grout just before casting the floor screed
If the bonding grout dried there is no bonding effect.
