Fabric Burn Test Analysis

Kennadee Barnes conducted a burn lab on September 28th, 2022 to identify different fabrics by how they burned. Four fabrics were tested: cotton, nylon, acrylic, and spandex. For each fabric, Kennadee recorded pictures of the fabric and burning/ash, and described how the fabric behaved when approached by the flame, in the flame, and after removal from the flame. Kennadee was able to identify each fabric based on these observations and comparisons to a fabric identification chart.
