University of Agder. Kari Brodtkorb works at the Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences in the
University. It is an online source that discusses palliative care among nurses and the challenges it
comes along with. The authors researched on the occurrence and remedy to ethical challenges
nurses face. The research resulted in the theme, ‘Dignity in end-of-life nursing home care.’ The
ethical challenges, faced in nursing homes and which are closely related to organizational
frames, is an area of concern in palliative care which require further research on.

The writers are experienced in the field of nursing and offer a variety of information and research
articles concerning nursing in the British Journal for Community Nursing. Tgheir research
strongly supports the challenges inn nursing homes. The elderly make a good number of the
patients admitted in the nursing home. The research done by the authors produced the likelihood

of more falls coming from the elderly in the nursing homes. The authors strongly agree that the
issue of falls among elderly that increase their risk for injuries is an upcoming problem in the
nursing homes.

The writers have a wide content and experience regarding nursing and the challenges in the field
of nursing. The researchers prepared d a questionnaire for nurses in the CCU inquiring about the
stress and quality of work that let to turnover problems among the nurses. They strongly agreed
that less stress and high quality work reduced the possibility of occurrence. The author proposed
that further research should be conducted to confirm if these factor applied to other setting as
well. It is suggestive that the problems nurses’ face need to be handled for better work quality.

research on nursing issues have ben appreciated over the years. The research was on the
challenges experienced by nurses in the record keeping. Lack of resources just as shortage of
staffing remains a problem in the nursing fired as per the research. Proper time management is
required to manage doing the tasks due to increased rate of admissions in the hospital. However,
further training record-keeping should continue among nurses.

The authors focused on challenges amidst the COVID-19 pandemic among nurses. Inadequate
staffing topped among the challenges. Other included inadequate protective gear compared to the
risk of contracting the disease. Despite the challenges regarding the nurses in the time of the
pandemic, there were recommendation for preparedness in case of a pandemic.
