JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT
Witness: JOANA M. MANIKLODAY , of legal age, Filipino, and resident of
Westwoods Subdivision, Dungon, Manila.

Place of Examination: Office of the City Prosecutor 3 rd Floor, Ramon q. Avanceña
Hall of Justice Bonifacio Drive, Manila.
Formal Offer: Your honor, we are offering the testimony of the witness, JOANA M.
MANIKLODAY , to prove that:
1. The fact that she and the accused was at the Luneta Park on the early
evening of December 15, 2018;
2. The fact that she personally saw the accused to attack the victim during
concert at the Luneta Park;
3. The fact that she personally saw the accused on his attempt to strangler
victim in the event;
I, JOANA M. MANIKLODAY , of legal age, Filipino, married, and a resident of
Westwoods Subdivision, Dungon, Manila, after having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law, hereby states that:
I am answering the questions propounded by the counsel, Ralf Sumaculub, of
Office of the City Prosecutor fully conscious, that I am under oath, and that I may
face criminal liability for false testimony or perjury;
This Judicial Affidavit is written in English, a language known and understood
by me, and the examination and execution thereof were done at the Office of the
City Prosecutor, 3rd Floor, Ramon Avanceña Hall of Justice, Bonifacio Drive,
Manila; and
This Judicial Affidavit shall serve as my direct testimony in this case.
1. Q: Please state your name and other personal circumstances. A: I am
JOANA M. MANIKLODAY , 47 years old, Filipino, married, and a resident of
Westwoods Subdivision, Dungon, Manila.
2. Q: Why are you here in court today, Ms. Joana? A: To give my testimony on
what I saw that night during the event.
3. Q: Do you undertake to answer all questions truthfully, aware that you are
under oath, and that you may face criminal liability for false
testimony? A: Yes, Sir.
4. Q: How are you related to the victim? A: I am the Sister and the victim is
under my care.
5. Q : Can you what happen that night? A: me and my brother together with
our aunt was watching concert that evening and Tonito was blocking my
brother’s line of sight.
6. Q: What happened next? My brother Juanito get annoyed and shoved
Tonito and he fall to the ground. His father Tony saw what Juanito did so he
got angry.
7. Q: Did he say something? A : yes. Q: What did he say? A: “Your such
foolish boy! Take this!” He said.
8. Q: After that, what he did? A: He struck my brother causing him to fall.
9. Q: What happened then? A: He continue to attacked and about to strangle
my brother .
10. Q: Then what happened next? A: My aunt shielded my brother preventing
the attack.
11. Q: After that what happened next? A: The security broke the scene and
restraint the suspect and the suspect yells (I will kill you.).
12. Q: What happened next? A : I immediately take my brother and brought to
the hospital .
13. Q: What injuries did your brother sustained? A: A laceration in the head and
some bruises.
14. Q: Anything else you wanted to say? A: I wanted to give justice to the
injuries he did to brother Juanito since he’s only a child and this is the right
thing to do.
