Dear Rain,

I know how difficult it must have been for you to have carried that burden for ten long
years, and I really admire your strength and perseverance. I truly hope that you are feeling a lot
better now because you have finally shared the weight of this burden with me. Let me give you
the courage to go on, and allow me to travel your journey with you – as a best friend should.
The journey is long and tedious. Many times you will be confronted with obstacles –
pains and scars and aches. When these moments come, don’t be afraid – remain firm and
steadfast, and always be assured that I love you very much.
Many times it’s difficult to see the sun behind the clouds although you know it’s always
there. I believe things will be better soon and until then, I hope you know that I’m always here.
Take care of yourself and remember, you always have a friend in me.
